First things first, sorry if this question has already been answered anywhere else in the forum, but I've been unable to find a working solution.

So, I've been playing Paper Mario TTYD and everything seemed to be fine until the game crashed with the pointer error I mentioned in the title (0x7fc00000). This happens every time I try to go down a hole in the Chapter 4, after Vivian joins Shadow Mario and in the way to Creepy Steeple (it's the one you go down after pushing the big rock in the background).

This happened using ver. 3.0.201, and does the same in the latest release.

My specs:
OS-->Windows 7
CPU-->Intel i5 750 @2.67 GHz
GPU-->nVidia GeForce310
Dolphing settings are pretty much the default ones.

Any solution?
Try enabling MMU Speed Hack in the game options.

How do I access the "Game options"?
Right click on the game in the game list and select properties.
