Because it is fanless and has a memory bandwidth of 76 GB/s, which (as suggested in this thread) could be enough for playing multi-player games with dolphin.

It fits perfectly in my case and it has a good price. The only drawback is that its heatsink would be very close to my cpu heatsink (about 1cm distant, or maybe less).. I dont know if it could be a real problem though..

I'm hoping with a AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz OC'd to 3.8GHz I should be able to play Skyward Sword at 1080p and max settings to make it look good on my Plasma..
Dunno if it would make a diffrence, but it looks like you can OC it a little to Core 865MHz/ Mem 115oMHz. :p

I can multi-play mario kart perfectly at a resolution of 1650x1200 (I don't remember the exact numbers of the resolution) but only using direct3D 9 (it could be a problem of the game, other games run well on d3d 11).
Didn't tried skyward sword and can't say if it can handle 1080p because my monitor can handle only 1680x1050.
