I'm using Windows 7 (x64) and a standard Bluetooth adapter (that works with the built-in Win7 BT stack).

I've used Dolphin to pair the Wiimote but I'm unsure how to do a couple of things:

1) Exit Dolphin and turn off Wiimote
2) Automatically pair remote when starting Dolphin

Here's what I'm doing now:

1) Pair Wiimote everytime I start Dolphin.
2) When finished playing, I'll exit Dolphin and hold [Power] on the Wiimote to turn it off.

...but I have to repair the Wiimote everytime I start. Is this normal?
What do you mean with repair the Wiimote?

Once you're done with Dolphin and is ready to shutdown the computer, just leave the Wiimote alone and shutdown the computer.
Next time you Dolphin, just pair up the Wiimote again.
Sorry, I meant re-pair (i.e. pair it again)...

I don't shutdown my computer though so it's always turned on. After pairing the Wiimote and exiting Dolphin, the Wiimote never turns off and eventually the batteries will be dead...

Oh OK, I guess we're all different. I always shutdown the computer even if I play for an hour or two.
Yes, this is normal. I do the same.

What's normal? Turning off your PC every day or re-connecting the Wiimote every time you want to play?
Reconnecting every time, and the Wiimote not disconnecting after exiting Dolphin.
This happened to me as well.
Why don't you guys turn off your computers? Or is it just me that's old fashioned here?

I do, but not always right after I finish playing, so I have to remove the device in Bluetooth settings or pull out the batteries for a second to save power.
