It's strange but i have no performance decrease with 8x FSAA, maybe it's because i'm running Dolphin at 1600x1200 (19" CRT monitor) and my video card has 2GB of VRAM which is more than enough for this resolution ?
As for texture cache - RAM and safe will be slow even on most powerful PC.

You mean MSAA? Dolphin doesn't have an 8x FSAA option.

It has nothing to do with how much video ram you have, just how powerful your gpu is.

well i have tried with no msaa and with msaa and i have no performance decrease what so ever at least not that intense
and i'm using 1440x900 as resolution
as i stated in my previous post i was using the texture to ram and safe because i was playing twilight princess and i need it that way so the minimap worked
You do not need safe texture cache to fix the minimap in TP.
ok so i followed your tips dolphin runs great but still crashes big time, im using 3.0-323 and which cpu would u recommend me?
i5 2500K with an aftermarket air cooler (for overclocking, a Z68 motherboard, and at least 4GB of DDR3 ram.
ook right now i have my cpu clocked at 3.5 and 8 gb ddr 3and i still get crashes with dolphin :/I'm using stock 3.0 version of dolphin
any ideas of why?
