Alright so I think, my computer is pretty good, I don't know. It can run Skyrim at like 45FPS solid on absolute full settings.

AMD FX-8120 3.4GHz 8-core Processor
AMD Radeon HD 6950 (haven't unlocked to a 6970, but there's the potential)
16GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM

And I don't get nearly the frames I'd imagine out of Dolphin. I currently am running 3.0-204dirty.

Mario Kart Wii - Menus I get 60, racing drops to around 30 most of the time, sometimes even hitting lower than 15.
Mario Kart GC - Menus I get 60, racing is around 45 most of the time, but will drop into the high 20s.
Super Monkey Ball 2 - I get like 60 in the menus, and around 60 in game some of the time, but 30 at others. Depending on the stage, it can drop below 10 even.
New Super Mario Bros. - 0FPS constant. I'll have to figure that one out later...
Animal Crossing GC - Normally solid 60, drops sometimes on bad days (mentioned below)

And so ends my kinda small dolphin library so far.

Some things I've noticed are, the games run differently at different times. One day they'll run at better speeds then this, and the next they can run at worse speeds. No changes to background programs or config of Dolphin. Other thing is that cut scenes are just generally really slow. That or they don't load at all (Mario Kart GC).

What's my problem here? Or do I not have a problem and my speeds are nothing to be complaining about? My drivers for GFX are up to date.

Thanks,

Never compare dolphin to a PC game.
Oh oops, I forgot the most problematic game.

SpongeBob Battle For Bikini Bottom - 30FPS normal in game, rarely going above 50.

That's a great game, one that is truly disappointing for me to see run so slow.

I was just giving a feel for my computer.

That's your problem. Didn't you look at any of the benchmarks or reviews for bulldozer?

Kidding me? I've seen benchmarks, but this thing blazes.
blazes?

Only at multi-threaded apps (which dolphin isn't really Tongue [only uses 2-3 cores])
Even in multithreaded apps it doesn't do very well compared to sandy bridge. The vast majority of software is MUCH faster on sandy bridge or even phenom II than bulldozer.

I meant considering core count only Wink (8 vs 4 [depending on the CPU's])

The vast majority, but not Adobe After Effects (which I use quite a bit). 8 frames at a time vs. 4 frames at a time. The i7 would have to be twice as fast at rendering a frame just to keep up.

But is the CPU really the problem? I don't see much load on the GPU either.
