got the real temp program and done the bench mark and my cpu goes up to 2.6 ghz.

Will this be ok for running games maby not a full but still playable or would you highly advise just going for a cpu upgrade.

It will be quite alright for GC games and some Wii games for the most part. Don't expect 100% perfect speed in some of the heavier GC and Wii games.
