Hi guys, I’m bit of a noob as I just joined the dolphin bandwagon a few days ago. Which build is the best one as of today? I noticed that you can get the official 3.0 204 build or there are about 100 other builds done by other people in the scene such as Extremedude2’s 3.0 221 or Lectrode’s r7668 or Xtreme2damax’s r7714 to name a few.

Which one of these should I use? Which one do you guys use and why?

If specs make any difference then here are mine.
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.4 GHz but overclocked to 3 GHz
4gb of RAM
64bit Windows 7
NVidia Geforce 8400 (Really need to change this thing to a better one)

Thanks guys.
What games you want to play have a huge role in which version to chose and use.
What are you planning to play?

Oh sorry I forgot to include that as well.

I only want to play gamecube games and not wii games.

I want to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Baten Kaitos 1 and 2

Eternal Darkness

These 4 games are my primary games on my list so any help would be grand.

Thanks
Use Dolphin 3.0 (the official release). Most GC games will work fine
Yep official 3.0 is more then enough sufficient for those games.

Thank you for the replies, so am I right in thinking that even if I use the other builds then I won't gain any perfomance advantage over the official 3.0 build?

Also how do I make the graphics look better? Do I just up the internal resolution?

Thanks
As long as your video card can handle it, otherwise raising the IR will slow games down for you.
