Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Important Info: I'm using the Dolphin -3.0-win32.

Appreciation to creators and community! I just wanted to give back to the community by posting my settings and if I can help one person then I'm satisfy.

First thread and I'm pretty sure that this is in the wrong section of the forum, but I couldn't post in the game sections, oh well. (P.S. WEEK OLD USER OF DOLPHIN! Sorry if I'm unpro on some parts.)

Here's are my settings that made Rune Factory Frontier and Rune Factory Tide work 30 fps most of the times.

Graphics Configuration

Enhancements

2)●Anti-Aliasing:None (It crashes when I change this.)

4)●[/b]Scaled EFB Copy.

Hacks
----------
1)●EmbeddedFrameBuffer:IgnoreFormatChanges.
2)●EFBCopies: Texture.
3)●TextureCache: Default.
4)●ExternalFrameBufer: Disable.
5)●OtherisablePer-PixelDepth and Disable Fog.

Advanced
----------
●NONE.


Dolphin Configuration

General
----------
1)●Basic Settings:Enable Dual Core and Enable Idle Skipping. ●Framelimit: Off.
2)●AdancedSettings: JIT Recompiler (Recommended)

Interface
----------
1)●Interface Settings: Use Panic Hnadlers.
2)●Theme:Boomy and ENglish.

Audio
----------
1)●Sound Settings: DSP HLE emulation (fast)
2)●Enable DTK Music and Enable Audio Throttle.
3)●Backend Settings: AudioBackend: XAudio2 and Sample Rate:48000HZ.
4)●Everything else from now is default except I deselect UseEuRGB60 Mode (PAL60)


WiiControls
-----------------------------
1)●InputSource:Emulated WiiMote.
2)Buttons:
●A = K
●B = J
●1 = H
●2 = L
●- = U
●+ = I
●HOME = Return. (Had to click it twice or three times to make it go to return. I have no idea what x or y axis is.
3)[b]Extension[/b]:Nunchunk.
4)ConfigureNunchunk:
●C = Space.
●Z = Semicolon.
5)Everything else is default.

This is how I got 30 fps most of the time. I hope I help AT LEAST 1 person.

I made an account specifically to thank you for this post. I was having annoying dips in framerate and choppy sound and your settings fixed the problem!

I'm glad you've solved your issue, but why on earth did you think it was a good idea to bump up this ancient old post? Please read the rules, we have a rule against necroposting.
Not only does it contain old information, but it also has dumb settings/suggestions and there's nothing 'special' about it.
