Well from what I've been reading sounds like Intel is the best option for Dolphin but is there any AMD CPU that can run it well?
AMD CPU's are 10-50% slower... (@Dolphin)
and intel CPU's 40-50% expensiver...

but jeah amd x3 black editions are a nice cheap choice, overclocked
but not comparable with sandybridge

your choice

No, Intel CPU's are faster than similar priced AMD processors in Dolphin emulator

i3 2120 can easily beat any AMD CPU (even the more expensive ones). Of course I'm talking about emulators only

Also, keep in mind that dolphin and PCSX2 emulators can use only 2 cores. So, a fast dual core would be faster than slow quad core.

Hmmm. I have a AMD motherboard but I don't feel like buying a new one lol. But guess I will since intel is better lol
