Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?
Didn't realize it was an ongoing problem. Works fine for me using the njoy v0.3 plugin. Or you can use the KB/X360 Pad plugin and map the keyboard buttons to your controller with XPadder.
Do this:
delete SDL.txt file
and rename the SDL(2.0).txt/SDL(3.0).txt to SDL.txt
