The plot would be similar to the games I think.
The usual Link, Zelda, Ganon, Triforce etc.

But if the plot is somehow extended, man there is endless possibility's of a perfect Zelda movie.
And for once I would like to hear Link speak.

While I know what you're trying to say, think about the environments of LoZ. Using real landscape and such, while probably possible, will not be as -fantasy-ish like 3D.

If you really want everything with real actors, who will pose as the monsters? Big Grin

Yeah, ofcourse, what is Zelda without Zelda? Tongue
But I meant like, each Zelda game is different.
(Bluntly put)OoT had the ocarina, Majora's Mask the masks, Skyward Sword the sword etc.

Only if the guy that does his shouts already does it. Big Grin

I'm thinking something like Twilight Princess which is a huge game.
Doesn't necessary have to be like that game but the locations in the game is awesome and beautiful.

The Lord of the Rings Midgaard had really nice locations, transform that to Hyrule and it would be sweet.
Anyone who thinks it's a good idea to make a hollywood zelda movie needs to be shot. I would prefer to avoid companies raping my childhood memories for profit any further.
Aww that's sad to hear. I guess you have to shoot me then.
I guess I'm not truly a Zelda fan then for wanting a nice movie.

After you have shot me can you bury me in Good Springs next to Courier 6?
It would be great if Doc Mitchell picked me up so I could do the SPECIAL machine again and rise my intelligence, clearly it can only be at 3-4 right now with ideas of an Zelda movie.
Thanks in advance!

THIS. This man just summed up what I meant to say.

If one were to be made, Nintendo is the only one to make it.

I agree. There are so many examples...

Yes like Marvel with recent Comics adaptations. They tend to be better Wink

See this is your problem, wanting a NICE movie. That won't happen. Lots of people seem to have this magic blindfold on them that:
A. Prevents them from seeing how shitty the plot/story was because of the nostalgia and overall emotion of it (music and art style play a big role in this). Don't believe me? Try explaining the entire plot to someone who has never experienced a zelda game before.
B. Prevents them from understanding that good games won't necessarily translate into good movies. They are two completely different mediums.
C. Prevents them from seeing that the history of video game movie adaptations greatly improves the chances that it will suck.
D. Prevents them from understanding that a movie of this caliber would require a huge budget in order to have even the slightest chance of being good, which it won't because major studios won't dish out that kind of cash to something this risky.
E. Prevents them from understanding that making a decent movie plot would usually require a huge rewrite of the original which would ultimately leave the fans unsatisfied.
F. Prevents them from understanding that if it does flop it will permanently scar the series and childhood memories for any serious fan that watches it.
NO ZELDA MOVIE PLEASE!!!!!!!
There are many chances that big studios could absolutely blow it so bad (as NV illustrated) that it could hurt the entire franchise. Or you could end up with some boring 3D movie that no one cares.

What's the point anyway? I'm sure we will have amazing graphics and even better stories with forthcoming consoles (although I'm not that sure about the Wii U) that no movie can get close.

It's all about the story and the medium, ZSS just proved it. Besides, no way I'm sitting 1:30+ hours to watch Link moving without having a wiimote in my hands Tongue
