guys im rlly new to this. it plays things, but not perfectly, and im wondering if it even can, can someone tell me? here are my specs:

Yup, not fast enough for most games. Try lowering your internal resolution down to 1x.

where do i go to adjust that. and does it really change much?
Graphics settings -> Enhancements

And yes it should. Many games will still run poorly though because of your cpu. You might get better performance running the windows builds of dolphin through bootcamp.
