I have a REAL copy of FSA and I want to rip the sprites of it, I would just get the FS for GBA but they aren't the same. How would I go around doing this in Dolphin.
Sorry if its obvious but I would rather find out how to do it without having to get the ROM for it and then randomnly attempt since I believe my PC may lag a lot for GC games.
Dolphin doesn't use sprites, everything is rendered in polygons. If you want the textures, try the dumping textures with the OGL plugin. There is an option that will dump them in the OGL plugin config windows under the advanced tab.

Cant get SVN to work with keyboard so i had to use an older version from emulator-zone.com, seems to work but the exported textures all seem to be in black in white when opened in gimp
Are you using the right color mode in GIMP? Sometimes it wants to fall back to indexed colors, but really you should be using RGB mode. It's in the Mode menu up top.
its only seems to be the textures of the title screen, other textures seem to be fine
Some textures are colored Ingame.
Is it a Alpha Map?
That's right... it could be an alpha map or grayscale texture.
Steelslasher, I am DESPERATE to get a hold of certain sprites (although apparently not actually sprites, right?) of Malon from Four Swords Adventures.
I've been looking into the whole Dolphin emulator thing myself, in the hope I could rip the images for myself, but I saw this post and thought if you can do it, can you help me out too?
I'm trying to get a hold of ALL the possible sprites of Malon, especially Malon on her horse, in FSA.
Dude, would you be so kind enough to get hold of these images and send the Malon ones to me (providing you are successful with your goal of course and manage to do it)? I would be extremely grateful!
If you can't then it's okay, but man, I have had NO LUCK after searching high and low on the web for these specific sprites ;[ If you could do it, I'd be so happy. Let me know in this thread of a private message how you get on and if you can help.

Not sure if it's possible but couldn't you open the iso and extract the textures? Try searching google...
there are thousands of textures, is it possible to remove layers so that i can just take animations that i want, also i believe that sprites of malon have been taken from ALTTP which is similar in terms of graphics to FSA, also the textures are just spirtes cut up and exploded all other the place
