wii 60 fps in nearly all games?
only with the i5/i7 sandybridge k edition overclocked to 4ghz++
NOT POSSIBLE WITH ANY NOTEBOOK
_ You don't need overclock it .Intel has turbo boost and AMD has turbo core
_ You won't be able to overclock it ,many users reported overheating problem when running dolphin on their laptop (not OC) .In other word , OC a laptop means suicide
_ That Llano can run GC games fine , Wii game not . You get what you pay for ....Get the i5

Quote:I bought this laptop for only $430, and now I'm reading about the "trinity" chips. Choices, choices, choices...

Trinity is a year away. And mark my words trinity is going to be a joke compared to your other options.

You need an intel i5 if you want to run dolphin well on a laptop, but even then it will still have trouble with the heavier wii games.

What would constitute a "heavier" game? Would Xenoblade or Tatsunoko vs. Capcom fit in that category? I tried out Muramasa on my friend's laptop which is an A6-3400M with an AMD 6520G 512MB graphics card and was surprised at how smooth the game runs.
No idea, I don't have either of those games. Some games are a lot harder to run than others. I refer to the games that are very hard to run as "heavy". So far I have encountered at least 3 games that fit into this category (debatable whether MP/MP2/MP3 fit into this category), SMG (super mario galaxy), SMG2, and DKCR (donkey kong country returns). Typically wii games tend to be "heavier" (harder to run at a high speed, or another way to say that is more demanding on your hardware) than GC games.
