Anyone knows any tip to do this? I know people here already did it, but I just can't get the damn sword to stay still, it goes to the bottom of the screen all the time, and even when I'm at teh right spot to draw, it just won't make a circle, just a ugly line. I'm guessing that using the mouse is better for this, but I'm really stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

me too.
Any help would be appreciated.

sorry my bad english

But that's untrue. What they should be saying is "latest stable version" ie.: 3.0. Not the more recent builds that are on the download page.

I download stable 3.0, added the peternson files, changed my config files, and it gets past the motion+ screen now while having custom controls.

Here's my Dolphin folder (it's using the newest dec 8th peterson files btw, no need to update):

Is this configured to use Xbox360 pad, then? I'm going to try myself when I buy the game, but I just wanted to know beforehand.

Thanks.

No, this is not. But there are plenty of posts in this topic about how to configure for the 360 remote that you should be able to use.

I'm having a similar issue. But I think I found the cause, in a way.

If I just download stock Dolphin, and add the peterson files, then launch the game, it works and calibrates the motion+. But if I go and change any of my control settings, it breaks it for some reason, and will no longer go past the motion+ screen.

The existence of the WiimoteNew.ini file in the User\Config\ folder seems stops motion+ from working for some reason. I don't get this, customizing your controls shouldn't matter. Even if you don't change anything and just hit apply, the fact that config file is there screws it up.

Here's the build with the Peterson files that works for me, nothing needs to be done on others parts:

Now if only someone could explain the custom controls problem breaking it -_-.

(Also, the cursor moves around fine during calbiration, keeping on track with my computer cursor. But when I get to the next menu with the save location and naming, the cursor liks to float around and not follow along well... Can't reach anywhere near the sides of the screen)

Indeed you are correct. I simply deleted WiimoteNew.ini and it worked. Thanks for the info.

Well this is wonderful isn't it... screwed either way until this gets worked out, lol.

Bump for any ideas on this issue.

There's a Gecko Code for that called "Infinite Charge (Flying)", you get it by downloading the Gecko codes from within Dolphin as usual.

(12-09-2011, 12:20 AM)Jefelin Wrote: [ -> ]It works, but is there any way that is always on fast?, I can not always be pressing that key, before it was not necessary, why now do?
Unfortunately not. The only way is to bind the fast key to all the gyro keys. If there is a need for a fast toggle modifier it can be added of course.

In Zelda SS at least, i never use fast all the time, I have fast bound to a trigger that I hold down to swing the sword, leap on vines, swing on ropes etc (pitch, roll and yaw is bound to the right analog stick). But I haven't had a need for a fast toggle button. What moves do you want a toggle button for?
Apparently only the sword serves me, the problem is that previous versions did not need to press any key to wake up fast, and now I do.
What do you mean with wake up fast? You mean use the sword?

(12-09-2011, 01:05 AM)Jefelin Wrote: [ -> ]JP Otherwise, you could implement mouse movement turns round as the doors of the eye, and aim the slingshot?
You mean smoother mouse movements? Even with smooth movements it's hard to rotate the sword in a full circle for the eyes in skyview temple, but with the latest versions it usually doesn't take more than a minute or a few minutes to get past it.

I mean that in previous versions, there was no need to press any key to activate the fast, and now yes, why?

I'm in the first dungeon, and there is an eye but I can not move from there because I can not make a full circle, how could I?

I need a good setting for the mouse, especially to aim the slingshot and others and for movement in a circle, otherwise it works quite well, thank you for all JP
How do I raise the sword skyward? So I can strike the crest?
I can't get past this puzzle, cuz i can't rotate the wheel all the way to the bottom right. Any tips ? ;(

Wheel "puzzle"

EDIT: Nvm. I got past it by increasing gyro range, if you're stuck in the same spot... by all means, do that.
I've got the answer to all of the future "I can't get this to work" comments: Fiddle with it for a while and figure it out, it's possible to do it one way or another, Big Grin
