dudiolicious can you plz give more info on how to do at with the bird I just can't do it.. I can fly it good up & right & left but I cant go down.

Motion+ movement is based on tilt. once you calibrate your controller and press A, motion+ takes over.

Motion+ games use a combination of the IR (for alignment as a point of reference)
along with the tilt controls (what motion+ sends, based on the gyroscope)

On the [Tilt] section of the Wiimote configuration you can bind the following:
Forward: T
Backward G
Left: F
Right H

After binding the keys, right click on the boxes and set the input slide to 3 for all of them.
(the default of 100 will make you slash and hack everywhere like a mad man, completely uncontrollable)

Now using the T and G keys in main menus gives us a working Y-axis... Groovy!

In game using this configuration you are able to fly around quite nicely, and when using the sling shot or beetle you will have perfect control using the T G F and H keys, as long as you do not touch your mouse.

If you want directional attacks, bind the modifier key on [Tilt]:
Modifier: Click 0

Now while holding the left mouse button, you can use your T G F H keys respectively for slashing, the modifier modifies the speed from 3, which is a slight movement, to 100 which is a strong slash.

on the [Shake] section you can unbind the following by pressing your middle mouse button while hovering over them:
X:
Z:

Only the Y axis is requited, for a nice clean jab attack. adding all of the axis is not required for a jab attack. This is optional and does not seem to effect the controls.

Try using WASD in the menu's for an easier time selecting things.
(whatever is bound to your nunchuck analog)

im thinking I need a video tutorial... XC

@foggyspider: with your setup, moving up and down works but I can't move left/right while on the bird. any advice?

there seems to be an issue with driving the beetle and flying, the input sensitivity for turning in those modes needs to be higher than normal, you can try raising the input bar on F and H until you find a good fit for flying.

It seems that a setting of 12 is good for general flight. You can't turn as sharp as possible, but if you set it too high it will think you are swinging your controller and cause you to constantly flap your wings.

Be sure to keep in mind if you want to use the sling shot it's best to change the input sensitivity back down to 3.

Hopefully we can get some more control over the motion+ tilt controls, possible more modifiers so you can have sharp turns, swings, and incremental changes.

Basically I set it up as this for my control figuration.

To fly i basically used numpad 8+6 to go right, 8+7 to go left, and the mouse to go down. ( by pushing the mouse up)

It took some playing around with but due to that you don't have to be very close to the bird it's possible to complete this mission. Just it takes a bit of strategy due to that the controls aren't refined enough.

The next hard part that I got stuck at is where you take the sword out in the temple.

To do this i switched the wii controller controlls to motion plus+ background input (well i can't rememebr but it was one of the 4 plus motion plus) and then played around with those configs until it eventually worked and i got so happy

I am in the same boat man. The bird part is a pain in the ass. I just can't win. Can you show a screenie (screenshot) of the configuration that worked for you plz.
