I believe Motion+ needs it's own control section, and the tilt should control the IR source and the tilt of the Wiimote. While using Motion+ tilt, it should force the IR source to stay in a fixed position. (when tilting at 45° or greater the IR source should be completely hidden)
that way you are not fighting the center-screen calibration that occurs when you are pointing straight at the screen.
This should work relatively the same way for the Y-axis.
At the moment when you try to tilt up or down, it will do so for a moment, but if you attempt to hold it in the same position it will slowly drift back to the middle of the screen.
The Upright wiimote check box seems to work great for motion+ games, so the motion+ tilt could base movement off whatever that checkbox is doing to the IR and tilt controls.
great suggestions! i've implemented some of that to improve cursor accuracy. and thanks everyone for all great comments and ideas!
new version posted in the same place as last time http://www.mediafire.com/?eta17d97uw4m4 and http://code.google.com/r/jpeterson57-dolphin/source/list
mainly improves cursor accuracy
A big thank you for your good work JP ! =)
I have problems in this new version:
I can no longer associate the buttons on my mouse, there are just left click works and can not use yaw left and right of the emulated wiimote.
GREAT JOB! Amazing! You guys are awesome!
I have a problem with my controller though. I am using a Dualshock 3 (PS3) controller, and when I assign the buttons, everything works except for the sticks. Dolphin wont recognize them. How do I fix it?
If there is no fix, can someone give me a keyboard config?
Also, is it just me or the lighting is to bright and the graphics are kinda choppy?
Much appreciated!
sweet, meeting with PO is over. don't have to serve 30days =)/
here's my setup using ps3 controller with motioninjoy drivers to make it a 360controller.

right click and set all input ranges for IR and rotate to around 30.
ive also had better luck flying the beetle and bird using left and right d-pad and left and right roll. the modifiers on buttons X/Y are for input ranges, set it to 100 and you will be able to swing your sword horizontally and vertically. to do a finishing move with this setup just press down both thumb buttons.
change it as you see fit, i've had no problems with the eyes in the first dungeon or any the boss key puzzles. currently in lanayru desert.
if your aiming if out of whack just whip somthing out that aims and press down on the d-pad a few times to center it.
i fail at posting, sorry.

Trying to put the gold key in the slot is like a bad dream.
heres a run down of how it works for me
X and Y are for sword swings, Y for gaining altitude with bird.
pressing down on the left stick will put up your shield, or roll if you're sprinting.
pressing down on right stick is thrust attack.
X+left thumb is spin attack and same with Y+left thumb.
to do a skyward strike just pull out your sword and point the left stick upwards, voila!
any questions or better suggestions for controls let me know, i havent found a part a cant do and i dont have to constantlu switch settings for flying, aiming etc.
i was finally able to pull out that sword finally tried new build = Sweet that goes to show nothing cant be solved
More save states have been added to the first post for some problem areas.
Everything works fine now. Can anyone tell me how to run the game faster?
The game runs at 20 FPS.
There is no magical way to run it faster, it runs as well as your processor allows. You should add your PC specs to your signature in your user cp.
Landed at Eldin volcano now, just to state there's a workaround for everything up to this point. There are people here who are already in the desert anyway, so I guess the game can be completed already, even if it needs improvements. Thanks so much everyone for the hard work.
Also, Starscream, if you think the gold key is hard, try catching a Grasshopper or a Mantis. LOL.
