Hey I have a problem. I can pass the Connect Motion Plus screen, but when I do the frame rate drops to like 10-15. And it's just in the main menu! How do I fix this?

Guys, how do I set up a PS2 control? I do not know how to configure it properly.

This was maybe bound to happen sooner or later but I think it takes away the feeling of actually swinging and doing the other various parts with a real Wiimote.

I can only wish good luck with this, it looks promising.

So I just went out and bought a brand new Nintendo Remote Plus & Nunchuck. I installed the controller and it's running properly. I set the controller configure in Dolphin to "real wiimote" and entered the game. However, I do not have a real sensor bar at the moment, so I'm using the good ol' candle trick. Only hitch is that it recognizes the wiimote, goes through the calibration, and then gets to the screen where it asks you to move the cursor to the middle of the screen, but for some reason the cursor will not respond. What am I doing wrong?

u'll find good config for it..im gonna try it..u too..and lets c if its great or not
but first download the last build from JP today

Yeah I'm using that build and also tried the configurations in post #255 and the first post of the thread, still very difficult to use the sword properly and perform certain attacks.

In fact, I'm not sure if it's locking up at that point or not. If I hit escape on the keyboard it exits the emulator.

The candle trick... I don't know if I should take that seriously.
While it might be a cool trick to show off at a party it's not the optimal solution.

I'm using a wireless sensor bar bought from Amazon:

The brand is Nyko:

Never had any problems.

I recommend buying one, it's only $19.99 and will work just as good a real one.

I use this both for my Wii's and Dolphin.
I think I am just going to buy a Wii Motion+ Wiimote and a sensor bar as this game seems way too difficult to play with a controller. I guess I can use the emulated Motion+ until I get the money to buy the hardware.
Main problem I have is that tilt commands just keep moving once pressed. For example if I try to aim or just look around in zelda ss and for example I press left then it will continue to move left making it very hard to shoot anything.
Is there any way to stop tilt controls from moving once pressed ? I tried lowering range and gyro value, and its better but nothing fixes it completely

When you emulate a console you have to emulate everything, including the controls. Save the real control hardware for the real console. Big Grin

Yeah I would but on Dolphin I can play on a larger screen at a higher resolution. I'll keep messing around with the emulated Motion+ to see if I can find something more decent for using the sword, flying the bird etc..
