Im sure Starscream will tell us once he finds out of it, until then, we gotta get through it ourself.
So lets give Starscream the time he needs. This wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for him to begin with anyways!
Still, I would love to emulate a wii pad instead of a wii motion
There seems to be some confusion here about where the credit is due. Starscream created this thread and made it available for everyone to learn about the new motion+ emulation, and for that he does deserve some credit for spreading the word.
John Peterson is the man who actually coded the Wii Motion+ emulation, it would not be possible without him.
I will be posting a keyboard config later that I have found to be best suited for zelda, and it will be able to be adapted to any controller with a little work. I can also post the configuration for my PS3 controller using motionjoy.
They aren't perfect but with a little finesse you will be able to do just about anything.

Ah yea, sorry, thanks for telling me!
Credit to John Peterson and Starscream! Keep up the good work!
Cant wait for your config bro! =D
yea cant wait for ur config bro..
and hope sombody owns xbox360pad to post it here too
I've been fooling around with the controls for xbox360 controller and it's working for the most part?
Did anyone else notice in the last texcache build that binding shake no longer works...I'm using that and 5.42.
It works in 5.42 w/7719 but it has the 'scanlines' issue (and it's like 3-4 fps slower) than the texcache which looks and runs perfectly but i can't roll.

Dude, starscream posted his config of his controller a few pages back...It isn't an xbox360 pad....but it's a pad with the same amount of buttons in the same locations....actually...it's a game pad. It's the same thing.
UMMM!!!! SO I don't know what I did...actually, i mapped the shake to another button....then remapped it to the button i wanted...then i exited the config screen and now link is rolling...
I don't know if he'll keep rolling tho.
So the x86 texcache-rewrite file doesn't have the dlls that come with the build in the first post, just an exe. Is that correct? And am I still supposed to be replacing 3.0-204's exe with it, or do I need to use an older build?
I'd like to test it to see if it still has the problems
I mentioned here.
yep same problem for me...
Um.... this is zelda specific....has anyone figured out how to thrust the sword?

Ha! I feel dumb...
I press the two shakes to thrust....duh!
lol.
I'm not gonna ask anymore questions till i fool around more...

OK....
If you have IR off ticked, the binding for shake on the nunchuck works...but if it's on...no shakey.
Hope this helps someone.
is this the perfect config for pad from Smart?
Here is the config file: http://www.mediafire.com/?s7km2byl7yeivqa
Place the config in the following path: Dolphin\User\Config\Profiles\Wiimote
To load this config, run zelda first and then configure the emulated wiimote. Make sure the Device is set to
DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse. Press the drop down under profile , choose Zelda-Keyboard and press Load.
Now before you plunk this in and complain about things not working, stop right there. make sure you are running one of the following versions:
Dolphin_x64_texcache-rewrite_2011-11-25_22-28.zip
Dolphin_x86_texcache-rewrite_2011-11-25_22-36.zip
Here is a quick rundown of the controls, these are not the best but you can rebind and save your keys until you have it setup the way you like.
All numbers used are on the numpad.
Nunchuck
W A S D: Nunchuck Movement (Move DUH)
*Note: to walk hold 1
E: Nunchuck Shake (Shield Bash, Roll while running)
Left Control: Look Around (Dowsing, free look)
Shift: Lock on (Target people and enemies)
WiiMote
8 4 5 6: Move the cursor around (aim slingshot, move around to select menus)
*Note: to swing any of these directions, hold 0 while pressing them
7 9: Roll the wiimote left or right (Twisting sword, flying left and right)
**Note: sometimes in order for the bolded buttons to work, you must hold Q.
(Explanation: holding Q will temporary hide the IR and allow you to use these keys freely. disabling IR completely will cause more trouble than good so best case would be getting a toggle button.)
Z or Space: A button (Confirm, Sprint, dodge, holster)
X: B button (Cancle/Back)
F: 1
G: 2
C: - (equip shield, hold potions)
V: +
Enter: Home menu (pauses game)
Up Down Left Right: D-Pad self explanatory
I Will setup a controller config later and edit this post.
thank you for this and good luck !
