Hello, I'm curious if anyone has managed to compile this version of Dolphin for Ubuntu?
It runs fine through cmake and make, however make spits out a ton of errors, but when I try running a game, it crashes when I try loading anything. GC games and Wii game alike.
This is the specific output during launch:
Code:
15:50:322 /home/AHEM/Skrivebord/jpeterson57-dolphin/Source/Plugins/Plugin_VideoOGL/Src/GLUtil.cpp:431 N[Video]: glX-Version 1.4
15:50:322 /home/AHEM/Skrivebord/jpeterson57-dolphin/Source/Plugins/Plugin_VideoOGL/Src/GLUtil.cpp:453 N[Video]: Got double buffered visual!
15:50:420 /home/AHEM/Skrivebord/jpeterson57-dolphin/Source/Core/Core/Src/Boot/Boot.cpp:196 N[BOOT]: Booting Skyward Sword.iso
15:50:431 /home/AHEM/Skrivebord/jpeterson57-dolphin/Source/Core/Core/Src/HLE/HLE_OS.cpp:52 N[OSREPORT]: 81200614->81300000|
Apploader Initialized.

The program 'dolphin-emu' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 11 error_code 3 request_code 38 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Anyone..?
Wait, make outputs errors, and you still get a program you can execute? No. Then that's not errors, but just warning / debug messages. If in doubt, it's always a good idea to pastebin those "errors".

The problem you describe is known to me, I don't know the exact reason, but it can be solved by opening the emulated wiimote dialog, and explicitly loading a configuration scheme which has the "X11 input" method selected. If you don't do this, dolphin will crash if you attempt to start a game, probably because of some uninitialized stuff in the X11 input system.
Sorry, I think I meant warnings...
But they are many. I'd have to paste all of the output, actually.

I will try what you said and see what happens. (I was trying to get this post in on 4:04 o'clock... xD)

How do I configure my Loftwing flying on Skyward Sword ? I tried many times , could you tell me what to choose ?
Here in the forums, there is a savegame for Skyward Sword after the flight. You don't have to do this flying mission.

Just use the search Wink

Yes, they do some fancy things with enums which gcc doesn't seem to like very much. I didn't look it up exactly, but the warnings are harmless.
OK: Game up and running, I've had to go for my keyboard as my choice of control because of all the axes and my minimum knowledge of what everything is.
I mainly used the WASD-model for these, except the numpad as nunchuck stick.
What I still can't get is sword controls. I'm about to free my loftwing. (They took ma loftwing!)
I've tried mapping both Nunchuck yaw, roll and pitch, none worked, IR up and down and the whole package, and Wiimote yaw, roll and pitch.
Which are the correct ones, exactly? (Please tell me on which controller, first page was confusing... :| )
