Options and names have changed between first JP's builds and the latest ones. Which version did you use?

I haven't tried latest builds (I've stopped testing motion+ builds not enough time ) but with 12/10/11 build for example you got Thrust/Rotate etc

I still seem to be missing various settings, which JP build should I be using?

I have tried many things, I managed to get out of that first boss [skeleton looking one] through luck I finally hit the stone with the flying bug, and got out, and have a save at that point. combination game pad, and keyboard and mouse.

But I just am unable to get any left and right movement from the mouse or the game pad. I don't understand what I am missing with this. so flying the bug through the little tunnels high up in the wals of that place for the keys and gem's is like impossible for me.

How do i manage to get the mouse to consistently do anything other than up and down ? Please help.

NO left right movement with flying bug, ot sling shot.

I wanted to tel you I took your config, and incorperated it into My philips recoil, and it works very well. I had to re assign the keys to My philips key code's, but It works very nicely.

I have managed to get the skeleton boss in the first temple, and the piece of heart just out side that room, by flying the bug around.

I have yet to manage to fly down the tunnels and get the key, or gems and items down there. [Keep crashing..can not seem to make the turns.]

any pointers on that ?

Were you able to get past the eye with this config? i wasnt able to spin the sword fast enough, it barely moves sidewards.

Hi.
When i launch Zelda Skyward Sword, a message tells me to connect my wiimote and nunchuk on the wii motion plus. But i have activated the option Wii Motion Plus in the config of wiimote on dolphin. Any idea to help me ?

the map movement, and sling shot and blowing device you get in the Time temple are tricky, but usable.

yes it did the 3 eyes first time, I had be for this been using a mouse keyboard routine I would swap to, and make the screen size very, very small [on the other 2 doors with eyes], but with this config I rotated the joystick with full size window, 1600 X 900 on my lap top, and first time, they fall asleep..was really easy..

Sling shot is difficult but usable. I did help my self some I think by increasing the width of the screen I did some math for a 16x9 ratio. And this seemed to help. But still testing this.

His sensitivity's may need tweaking some also. But so far I have left them alone and is working fine.

I re did the race with this or first bird flight, and beat it in like a little over a min, and I had both statues captured.

The Philips controller I have has all the same keys and actually a couple of extra that and XBox 360 has, so I was able to re assign and keep everything the same.

EDITED 01-09-2012 This thread is so big now: I have modified it some to suit my controller,[I have gyro range at 10, and Gyro settle at 15] but with this config I went through the first and second, third, and fourth, and fifth dungeons so far with little trouble [the fifth one, targeting eye was troublesome]. My Flying bug control now is excellent, I think in some ways better than my Wii. The sling shot and Map movement cursors need some help, but are usable with slow and careful aiming, But it is tedious. Everything is very workable at this time, and the game is very much becoming a Pleasure to play this way..

I have tried Keyboard and mouse, most every config I could find here, but they were all very laborious to use FOR ME, [I am left handed]. The controller just seems so much more intuitive, and normal.

here is image of pro filer on My Philips controller, for some reason numbers shown in pro filer are off by one digit, 5 becomes 4 and 6 becomes 5. I don't know why this is so when looking at config always subtract one from the number as in the number shown in the pro-filer one becomes zero 2 becomes one.

hi, I've started Skyword Sword but I can't figure out how to do horizontal, vertical, or diagonal swings of the sword. I'm using kaicooper's configuration for controls for my PS3 controller.

I can only do the basic sword stab swing. Any help?

Also, for some reason I my system can't run 4x internal resolution. I have a 6870 and 2500k and only get like 3 fps in Skyward Sword...

most configs set up a button, on controller pads it is normally one of the left right buttons in front of your controller. when this button is activated it will make the joy stick of there choice swing the sword, however they have it config-ed.

This is done so that when accessing the inventory you do not bring out your sword, and drop out of the equipment access Menu.

Normally SS forward is for down slash, left , and right for diagonal and horizontal. moving both sticks out ward will do a circle if set up right. and using the joystick push down on buttons for the shake.

as to the 4x internal res, I think that is mostly for window size so you may re size the window to your desk top.

If that is the case anymore than 2x would be a waste. But I may be wrong on that. I find play at the 640x480 and auto default setting quite acceptable, and I play in the main window [a setting available in the graphic config screen], which seems to give me better FPS, and re size the window to 1600x900 which is my laptops desktop res.
It is very acceptable there, and also if I need to change the config during play, this makes it very easy to do on the fly, never leaving the game.

but I am learning as I go with this one, My FPS range in SS is from 24 to 30, and although my system is a quad core, it is a lap top with only 6 gig of ram & fair non integrated vid card. so you can figure it is not like super fast.

I know not much help, but maybe, can point you in right direction.

I tried moving the sticks in all ways possible and nothing worked.

I even tried using the mouse and keyboard setup but my mouse and keyboard don't work at all in-game. Dolphin isn't detecting my mouse's motion for some reason...
