Using keyboard and mouse, I could beat the bird race. The only thing that still doesn't work well is the IR cursor. It just seems to have a mind of its own. o.O
Somehow, in the beginning where it says "Point the Wii Remote at the screen", the cursor works perfectly, just as my mouse pointer would. But that is the only point where it works like that.
Hey,
exactly the same problem here. Luckily you can do most things without IR, but aiming is quite a pain.
It would be very useful to have more users describing their experience with the IR pointer, maybe the issues could be fixed then.
Cheers
look at page 123
Change the device from DInput/0/ Keyboard Mouse to RInput/0/Mouse
Change Width to 100
^ This? Thanks! I'll try it the next time the game requires the pointer.

Yes, reduce your windows size ! It worked for me
Setting the cursors to RawInput worked wonders. But I also increased IR sensitivity and Gyro sensitivity to 500 and increased height/width/center to 100. Took several tries and a lot of patience, but I managed to get that gate with two eyes open.

Now feeling like a total badass.

Thanks again for the great work, everyone involved! This is some amazing stuff.
^ In case someone wants to see my config. This is what I used to beat the two eyes gate. NOTE: Mouse cursors are set via RInput instead of DInput. And the cursor is pretty much usable now.

Using the settings in Aulis, in which key you get higher with the bird?

The fastest way to gain altitude with the Bird that I've found is to repeatedly dive and recall the Bird, or use the infinite charge Gecko code.
I've looked at combinations of IR, acc. and gyro input with both the emulated m+ and the real m+ but haven't found an easy way to gain altitude while flying the bird (without an infinite charge code).
yep everybody i'm new on the forum and i'm very french so i understand a little what is said here.

cant past the draw circle on the door with xbox360 config
Does RInput anything different than DInput or Xlib except wrapping the cursor on screen edges?
Anyone have a problem just before the temple of time in the desert after you activate the 3 generators, I can't get the fire simple down to the bottom right in the 4 oclock position, the most it will go to is the 3 oclock position. I am using xbox config with a ps1 controller and this is my first problem, had no problems with the bird race in the beginning of the game.
Here is a video walkthrough of the puzzle and where I am at, the puzzle I can't do is the one with the 3 symbols, starting at 30 seconds in the video, cant get the fire symbol to the bottom right like the guy is doing, can only get it to the 3 oclock position.
