I've tried a bunch of different configs, and several different versions of both Dolphin and JP's Motion+ emulation, but I'm still having issues with the IR pointer. I'm using a 360 controller, by the way.
The IR is jittery, moves in random directions, and behaves completely erratically. Also, when I set NOTHING to control IR, both the mouse and controller's right thumb stick still (sort of) control it. There doesn't seem to be any way to prevent my mouse from having control over IR, even though I have not in any way chose for it to have control in my settings.
If I delete WiimoteNew.ini then I seem to have somewhat working IR control with the mouse, but again the mouse controls IR without me ever choosing for it to, and I can't use my controller or any motion+ emulation without creating a new WiimoteNew.ini

tl:dr: I need help with getting the IR pointer to work
I am now trying to get Zelda working for about 2 weeks, and i cant figure out my problem.... Have tried out i guess every JP Build in combination with different Dolphin builds. And read through the whole topic and i am absolutely clueless....

I can start the game properly but when ingame i cant move my cursor in a right way and only got about 50% of the X-Axes, and the Y-Axes is moving very slow. but when pressing home button, everything is working great.. only ingame its totally lost... Machine won vs human!!! i am desperate.
btw, trying to play with Keyboard/Mouse. Can some1 where it's working, with windows7 64bit not just upload his Dolphin inclusive jp and texcache and settings?

It would just be awesome!! Many men/women got the same problem as i already figured out, and i guess no one knows what to do. At least i don't....

Thanks for your work!!
Or send me a PM, if possible....
Thanks!

sorry, i havent found an "edit-button." is there one?

It's called the search function. Or page 123...
for me ..everything is great though
im now Skyloft after 3rd island

i hope JP fix the pointer..cus somtimes it tuck randomly up or down
If your pointer gets stuck, open up the map, Keep pressing Down (d-pad), til is centre, and keep pressing til it stablelizes. DONE fixed.

Is not a problem with JP built is a problem on how hard you are moving the pointer, you are suppose to move it smooth if you cant do that you going to lower your gyro sensitivity.
all of a sudden my 360 controller is acting 'wonky' when playing SS. like when i release the left stick link will keep running most of the time. the right stick will sometimes swing the blade without pulling in the right trigger (modifier) which is a pain when aiming. the "a" and "b" buttons (mapped to xbox's "a" and "x" respectively) will just stop working. up until last night it was working perfectly and i have not played with any settings. using kaicoopers 360 setup. any ideas?

using 3.0-235 build with both 12/16 and 12/19 wiimo+ builds, same thing.
pc: i7 920 2.6, gtx570sc, 6gb ddr3 ram.

The only thing I know is that there are .dll files within the Dolphin with Emulated Motion Plus map.

The map of Dolphin mac version is a bit different has more maps than ^ this one, so I don't know where to start to be honest.

There's a tutorial here:
http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/MacOSX_Build
Just replace the git clone URL by the one jperterson posted earlier.

I never used Mac OS, but building on linux was rather easy, and that's quite similar.

Greetings

Meh, tried to fix this for 3 hours now but I can't really figure out what to do lol

Yeah, it might be difficult if you never had to do with compiling stuff before.
I read somewhere there's issues with the input backend on mac OS currently anyway, so it might not even be worth it.

Anyway thanks for your help hehe. I hope there's an alternative way to play with Emulated Motion Plus on Dolphin in the future.
