Before I do that, what is your emulated Wiimote settings? I'm not sure if I may not be configuring it correctly, every configuration I've tried so far has failed for that specific part in the game. Do you have the NTSC-U version of the game, if you do I can post my save to see if you can pass that for me. I don't like using save states because they are incompatible between revisions and generally unstable.

I'm using the configuration by Aulis2. It's been working great so far. I've no idea why it isn't working for you thought... And yes, NTSC-U.

thank you for the config Wink
First of all, thank you very much for your work, JP! : )

Sorry for coming here with such a n00b question, but how do I get past the "connect the motion+" screen?
I have the PAL version of the game, I use Dolphin 3.0-246, and I downloaded the build Dolphin_x64_2011-12-02_ 6-04.zip. I'm trying to play with keyboard + mouse and I've checked motion+ on the wiimote config screen. What can be the problem?

Although I have some experience with Dolphin and have completed both GC and Wii games with it, this is completely beyond my capabilities. I'd really appreciate a guide for dummies because even if I read though the posts in this thread, half of them doesn't make any sense to me. :/

pd: most emulated controls issues fixed though...

With recent non texcache rewite builds dx9 is suggested for less glitches, it might be faster than texcache rewrite with d3d11.

Yes i noticed this as well been playing with dx9 settings if i wasn't i would be going around 18fps average i believe...to my computer im just a few frames below a stable speed , ill be waiting when better performance client-wise has been achieved i guess or if someone finds out any significant tweak...

I tried the search function but without success.
I am pretty new in this Emulator and I dont know what i did wrong.
I downloaded the latest version of Dolphin Emulator and "Windows 64-bit - Mediafire Dwnload - Emulated Motion Plus 12/2/11".
I want to play Zelda skyward with Mouse and Keyboard. So i am clicking on the Wii mote button and using an emulated wii-mote. My configuration is the one, that aulis2 is using.
So now, i am starting the game and what appears is, that i have to reconnect the Wii Remote and press "A" or, that i have to "Connect the Wii remote and nunchuk to the wii motionPlus accessory.Next, wait a few moment without touchiing the control stick."

So... as i said i am new here.... can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? btw, sometimes dolphin doesnt recognize a keyboard. is this because i am using a laptop?

Thank you, and greetz.

no man it is not your laptop..
i recomend you use the build 12/7/2011 look for it in old in the j peterson mediafire page...
this problem is solved with this build...download 12/7/2011 textcache rewriter..and paste it in dolphin folder..dont rename o replace with anything..only when you want to play click textcache rewriter.exe icon..you are using my config soo there is no problem

Gamepad here btw.

Anyone with troubles using the harp: I use a Gyro sensitivity of 33, then just press the left/right tilt stuff. It's easy. When his hand is at the far Right, you press Left one time and it'll go smoothly to the Left side, then you press Right one time, and Left, and Right... You get it.

Alright Ive tried fiddling around with the gyro's, and I made it past that tutorial part by sheer luck.

But I knew it wouldn't last that long. Im stuck in the skyloft harp part. Would you mind posting your config?
I'll post the settings I used to get the harp parts working. May require some tweaking for 360 pads since I'm using a PS2 controller.

Not sure if it'll work for everyone, but what I do is switch to this profile from my standard one, hold down L, go left to right on the right stick in time with the growing/shrinking ring, then switch back. Works nearly flawlessly for me once I get the timing right.

Hope this helps!
