Most likely yes.

do those sensor bars connect via usb to your pc or how does it work?
Most are battery powered. No retail ones exist that connect through USB. (Note: the sensor bar sends no information to the Wiimote or Wii, it just is a row of IR lights. The wire that plugs into the Wii is a power cord.)

so you have to buy a wireless sensor bar for pc and it isn't connected to anything at all then, is that correct?
That's correct.
Hi,
i've purchased a Wiimote with Nunchuk, to play Zelda: Skyward Sword, but the calibrating seems not to work...
I think my wiimote has the motion plus feature integrated, but i'm not sure...is there a way to figure that out?
If i go to the home-menu, the cursor rotates if i rotate the wiimote...but i'm not sure if this is normally like that, because this is the first time i'm playing a wii game^^
Pressing Alt-F5 2 times to connect/disconnect Wiimote then wait the calibrating
Something I found out. You can play they game fine with a real wiimote and nunchuck but without a sensor bar. To do this you will need 2 monitors if running the game on full screen. I noticed that when u have the dolphin window on the secondary monitor and have that window active (on your main monitor the game should be full screen), you can use the wiimote motion controls as if you had a sensor bar. This also works with any other window you have open just alt tab to it and make it active and you can play the game fine without a sensor bar. You can also test this with one monitor but you will have the active windows in front of the game but you can still move the IR cursor as if you had a sensor bar, pretty neat.

thx for your help, but that doesn't changes anythingSad
The calibrating screen comes up for a few seconds and then it says again i have to connect wii motion plus and nunchuk...

This screen is coming up for 1 or 2 seconds an then it disappear and the screen that says i have to connect the accessory appears again...
With Red Steel 2 i have a problem too, i can create a save but after a few seconds in game menu there comes up a screen that says: "reconnect the wiimotion plus" or something like this...
In Metroid Prime after a few seconds it shows up "Wiimote Disconnect" an i have to connect it in dolphin again. could this be a problem of compatibility? my wiimote isn't original nintendo.
Hope the genuine wiimote will solve the problem, 60,- bucks -.-
