Does anybody know if there is a code to disable the "please insert motion plus" message?
I found a code to the demo version but it doesn't work in the full game

I know I probably won't make it far in the game but at least I want to try it for some time...

Who said that, no one ever claimed to have beaten the game with emulated motion plus.

That's true. Emulated motion plus is a form of motion plus. It's not possible yet, though.

It's a private test build, I'm just relaying some info on the work that is being done. As far as anyone else is concerned, there is no such build.

If these stamens are not true, and this thread is to be the official thread, can we clean this up. I'd also like to humbly make the request that all pertinent info gets added to the first topic. I have highlighted a few thing that people are already asking twice. Not that it will put an end to the double quests but it could help.

I think you're confused and don't know the difference between the real hardware motion plus wii-mote extension and the PC code that tries to emulate it. That is what does not work and is not ready for use yet. Real motion plus works fine and the game is fully playable.

Ok, that clears it up.

I was told by someone that the new official Nintendo Wii MotionPlus devices do not work with Dolphin. Is this true? If so, what should I buy? I found a few cheap generic motionplus knockoffs on Amazon. Would these work with Dolphin?

I'm asking because I plan on playing Skyward Sword via Dolphin, and have not purchased a MotionPlus before because none of the games that required it were interesting to me.
Some people are having trouble getting the Wii-motes with the built-in motion plus working with Dolphin, other people have no issues with them. You could try the official Wii-mote and then buy the separate motion plus extension and give that a try.
I think that the problem with built-in motion plus controllers are related with Japanese units. Tested here one from Japan, it's detected by Dolphin but none of the button works. Other guys that I know are reporting that it works with their american version.

This is what I was planning on getting specifically.

I already have an official Nintendo Wiimote i just need the motionplus add-on. What I was told was that the official Nintendo add-on motionplus devices (not the remotes with built-in motionplus) had some sort of new encryption or something that made it incompatible with Dolphin. Is this false information? Just curious.
Hi,

i'm pretty new at this.
so i just bought original nintendo wiimote + nunchuck + motion plus + wireless sensorbar for playing the new zelda game.
i followed the guide for connecting the wiimote just as explained, using the latest dolphin in the main site.
everything is just ok until the game starts an suddenly it changes in the emulator to "disconnected". for some reason, the refresh button still works and the wiimote vibrating (as it should be if it was connected). all the buttons on the wiimote doesn't work.

my specs:
AMD Phenom X6 1055T
eVGA GTX 470 1280MB
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
2048X2 Kingston DDR2 800 HyperX

oh and Windows 7 64 Home

BTW the Bluetooth dongle is an unknown brand but works great with everything, connected with the Windows 7 drivers.

Thanks

EDIT: for the admin who closed my other topic - this problem is not only in skyward swords, but in every game. this was just an example. so ask before closing next time :\
