Guys, the issue here is with your Bluetooth Adapter, not the sensor bar.

That white wireless sensor bar is the same one I'm using, it works fine.

I just purchased this today. (TRENDnet Micro Bluetooth USB Adapter Model TBW-107UB)

I am happy to report that the improvement with this adapter over my old one is unimaginable.

The game is finally playable, with almost the exact same sensitivity as when I play it on the Wii. All the sluggishness is gone, I went around fighting Bokoblins and Skulltulas, they dropped in seconds this time, rather then minutes. I went and fought Ghirahim immediately after, and this time I had no trouble defeating him at all. All my swipes are accurate, I can sword spam with my angles still being tracked, and the IR pointer is a lot smoother as well.

The only thing that hasn't seemed to have changed is bird controls, although it works fine now that I've gotten used to the rather low sensitivity. I play sitting back in my computer chair so angling the remote downwards is harder for me than it is for those playing standing up or at an upright angle. Also, tightrope balancing seems to be much improved, if I fall off a tightrope, it's because I told the game to. In general, it's just like playing on the Wii, except with 1080p. I'm glad that this is how I'm going to remember my first playthrough of this game. All the older Zelda games feel like they were in HD when I first played them, but that's because of standards of the time. The Wii is not in line with current standards, so it's a godsend I don't have to deface my memory of this with that awful resolution.

As far as emulation, I have noticed almost no problems whatsoever, although the music in the first temple seemed to play twice at some points. Strange, but nothing hard on the ears, and it didn't happen often. Besides that, I see no emulation problems at all, completely identical to the Wii experience sans the graphics. Some people say the game freezes at certain points later on, but I have yet to encounter that, and I'm sure it's nothing a quick revision swap can't fix.

From what I have read you dont need the bar at all, any two lights will make it work. All the bar does is powers two inf-read lights for the wii to know how to calibrate where your monitor is. Candles even work. I bet even a string of xmas lights would do( hiding all but two bulbs). Its also very easy to make from parts at radio shack and a 5 volt source ( usb ). I bet even LED's woudl do ( red or not ). Brighter the better.

I decided on this one. Its wireless and allows for 25 feet.

This seems to be a good setup guide.

I just purchased this today. About to test it out, will edit post with results in a few.

Anyway to just turn the sensor bar on without the timer (And that EXTREMELY ANNOYING beeping)?

Ooh, mine doesn't have the beeper or timer. Identical in appearance only I suppose.
I got mine from Hong Kong lol.

Also, be aware I had the link wrong, that was not the model I purchased, I have since updated my link. I advise you to do the same in your post where you quoted me, for the sake of inattentive readers.
Here is the video of the difference in motion plus from the demo and retail game without a sensor bar.

Not using a sensor bar for both tests. You can clearly see the demo version does not need sensor bar to do the motions. Sorry about the quality, I was recording it with my phone. I am wondering if I am missing something or should I post this in the issues on Google code?

Can someone tell me if this behaviour is normal for Dolphin or not - If I press and hold the B button and move the wii mote quickly the select screen disappears and Link pulls his sword out. Link does the same thing when in the slingshot aim screen if I shake the wiimote quickly.

Also it seems sometimes like my wiimote aiming goes a bit odd - like the centre point of the wiimote is no longer the centre point of the screen (i.e. if you centre the screen and move the controller around when you put the wiimote back to the previous centre point the screen is off to one side).

I am using the wii as my sensor bar and a standard nintendo wiimote and external motion plus. My blutooth adaptor is made by Technika and comes with a Toshiba bluetooth stack which I am using.

Just get a 10€/whatever one from Asus or some other brand.

@akskiller; Why would you even have a Wiimote(+) and not have a sensor bar !?

Not the point. I used 2 candles to get as far as I did in the retail game since its cheaper. My point is why does the demo not require a sensor bar and works great with motion plus while the retail game suffers without a sensor bar.

Obviously it's "not the point", but still a very adequate question.
Stay on topic. It's not your concern why he does not have a sensor bar. Leave it at that.
Quote:Beat the game with this setup - no problems whatsoever.
Quote:The game will not start and the Wii-mote will not stay connected without motion plus.
Quote:I probably shouldn't mention this yet, but emulated Wii-motion plus is being worked on but it is not ready to use yet

Unless I missed something here, these statements can not all be true?

- not sure how savy you are, but open it up and removed the buzzers.
