Thanks skid for clarifying.

I just tried the game on my bros Wii with my sensorbar and my wiimote and it worked just as with his.
What I noticed is that even on the Wii the game has a slight Motion+ Lag (compare it to Sports Resort and youll see the difference), but on Dolphin its a bit more.
And even on the Wii after 10 absurdly weird swings Link doesnt really do the same swings anymore as you until you point the Wii towards sensorbar again.

So all in all, the game works just fine for me on Dolphin like for evryone else.

Which means we can't do anything about it?

Right. It is a limitation of the technology.

Sorry to quote back an old post, but I noticed that this problem obstructs me from playing normally too.

skid, you said it is a limitation of the technology. For it to get normal again, do I have to like turn off my wiimote and wait a certain amount of time (maybe for some parts in it to cool down or something?) or is there another solution?

Closing Dolphin + Disconnecting my Wiimote from Toshiba Stack -> Connecting again + starting dolphin anew did NOT make it better for me.

Any suggestions?

Wiimote is completely retarded.

So I have the game on the Wii and on Dolphin. I play on Dolphin because of the pretty graphics. But I notice the controller sucks horribly on using Dolphin compared to on the Wii.

I am using r7719 and have all the settings they suggested in the main thread. The controller "works" but not very well. I even check with my cell phone's camera to ensure the infared lights are still on my sensor bar. But still, pointing is quite difficult and motion swings are usually way off. It makes this game not much of a joy to play when half of my motions are incorrect.

Could it be my bluetooth dongle on my PC? Is there a suggestion for one that works well? Or is there a better version of Dolphin I should be running for Wii Motion+?

I am using the Gold wiimote that came with the collector's edition.

Thanks in advance.
I had a lot of the same issues. Consider..

1) put the BT in the open, not behind the computer or where it can get interference.
2) use ALL Nintendo parts, no exceptions (use the OEM wii bar if possible).
3) turn the wii-mote speaker volume down to 0 ( yes this helps).
4) I find wii-motes with motion inside to work fine, other say no so.
Deleted my original post, it was the placement of my bluetooth dongle I think, sorry bout that....

1 other question though. Upon leaving my wii mote for a minute or two while I went to help my dad with something I came back and found it had "been interrupted" with the game. the wii mote was still on, and still had the number 1 light on, as though it was still synced, but no buttons worked, the game wasn't registering any button presses.

Is there any way to re-sync the mote to the current game without having to quit the game? as its a little annoying doing something (temple) and then the wii mote d/c ing and me having to re-do the bits I've just done.

In Dolphin, when a game (or the GUI) disconnects a real Wiimote, the latter is still connected/linked with the Bluetooth dongle. Either way, you can't directly reconnect it in emulation by pressing a button like with a real Wii.

Instead, try the Alt+F5 hotkey (mapped to the Tools->'Connect Wiimote 1' command by default), once or twice, till the yellow text reads "Wiimote 1 Connected".
If for some reason this doesn't work, open the Wiimote Configuration window, set the Wiimote source to "None" and then back to "Real Wiimote" or "Hybrid Wiimote".
@oOTAGOo - This thread is for real hardware controls (using a real Wiimote), not emulated stuff. Your guide is not helpful here. I'll go ahead and delete your post since it's already in the emulated motion plus thread and you have your own thread for it.

Thank you sir! And sorry.. I tried to delete the post once I noticed it said "Real" controllers but for some reason it was telling me I didn't have access..
Yea, I'll give that a try next time. I managed to do it this time by saving the game state, then reloading the game state (seeing as reconnect upon load state was checked)
Had to do it a few times mind, it doesn't like to recognise that the nunchuck and motion plus is connected lol

Another issuse I had, was like my first issue, is that eventually the wiimote is out of sync, I.E Link starts holding his sword funny, and swimming underwater is near impossible with the angles I have to hold my had at to get him to go straight :p lol for now I'm just taking 5 from the game, been on it for the past 3 / 4 hours, so it could probably do with a break Smile

Thought i could post my experiences with zelda and motion plus.

I bought on ebay a wiimote (plus integrated) and nunchuk and bluetooth stick for 16 Euro! (total)
unfortunately the nunchuk doesnt work with the wiimote. but when i connect the nunchuk with an original wiimote it works perfectly. Same the other way arround. It works well when i connect the unofficial wiimote with an original nunchuk. xD
its a bit crazy but i tried everything, i didnt find the error.

So when i play eg with wiimote from china and original nunchuk i can play zelda really perfectly! even flying is no problem. downloaded the latest rev
and everythings fine.

I forgot: i use an extra usb cable from my tower to my desk for the bluetooth dongle to avoid contact failures - works fineWink

so thats my storyWink
