Hey guys.

So i got Dolphin to work for me, along with Zelda Skyward Sword. I have just started to play and yes i am using mouse/keyboard as controllers. As i am far away from home now and not able to bring the Wii with me, i am just using my computer.

I am able to play, walk around, talk, do rolls and thrust the sword. But i have been trying to get all the swings with the sword right. I have not figured out how to actually swing my sword, do the slashes and special attacks.

I hope someone here knows how to configure the emulated wiimote, to work with keyboard/mouse, that it becomes playable.

Do not just link me this: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=20167

I know there is a picture there that is suposed to give an example of it could be set up, but it really dont give me a indepth perspective of how it works.

Flimx, the wii is really a 3d device in that is has x,y,z sensors. Tring the emulate it with a mouse ( 2d device ) will be near impossible. My guess is you mapped the mouse to fit ( away mouse = up wii ) and (left right mouse to left right wii ) This rids you of the forward backward dimension. Maybe if you whip the mouse to the right or the left you might get a swing but forget about fancy moves! Unless Dolphin has made a hack for this I dont see how its possible.
I'm wondering why you're discussing the emulated wiimote stuff in the real wiimote thread. Just go to the other thread and read it, it's all written down there... ;p
hi, I am playing Zelda for quite a while now. Always experiencing Motion Plus issues. I have a real Wiimote with Motionplus inside (the old models that work with Dophin). Right is never right, left is never left. Sometimes it is turned around, sometimes it is a little off and sometimes the controls are total wierd. I got to the part where you have to ride the mine cars and lean left and right and jump. I cannot get this part done with the sloppy controls. I tried different builds of Dolphin but no luck. Am I the only one with control issues with a real Wiimore that works with Dolphin?
did you have a sensorbar? enable it...
skyward realtime calibrates the motionplus against the sensorbar...

thing is I have a wireless sensor bar
I tested the game weeks ago and everything worked fine (except the game was very slow). I then tried so many different settings and dolphin versions and from one day onwards the followig happened: when I start the game and it says "point the cursor at the center" it didn't respond anymore. I thought my wireless sensor bar was broken so I returned it for a new one but the problem was still the same. So I couldn't even start the game. I then searched the internet and learned about the two candles or two IR sensors or lights or whatever. I don't have candles and so I tried my floor lights. It worked. I was able to start the game. BUt from than on I always had choppy controls. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. I pulled off the nunchuck quite some times and reconnected the controller within the game and after some tries some times the controls work flawless. I also tried out different Dolphin versions again. I thought it had something to do with the latest version that had the error with the title screen since it worked before on my PC. So now I checked out the youtube video. WHat does it tell me? When calibrating the Wiimote I should not point it on the screen? What does "leaving a window" open mean? I run Dolphin in the main window. What should I do? Please advice. Thanks for your help

1.take a digi cam or your mobile phone and make a picture of the sensorbar...
the ir-leds are visibile on digital pictures...

2. the minimum range of the sensorbar is somehow 1m...
if you sit directly infront of the sensorbar it won't work...
So, my Wiimotion+ remote desyncs a lot along with many other people in this thread. I don't believe that the remote is unresponsive in any other way. When it's properly synced, I can perform all the fancy moves that anyone should be expected to... but after a period of time playing (ranging anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes), it gets so bad that I have to recalibrate it.

Is it a native issue with the Wii, then? Or is it something that can be fixed?
