Hello, my name is Andrea. I would try to buy a third-party Wii Remote for use it with Dolphin (Zelda Skyward Sword), it's better take the one with built in motion plus or the one with separated motion plus? Thanks in advance

3rd party is not recommended nor is using a motion plus inside. In the end most people just end up buying an original wii-mote with m+ add-on

thanks for the reply...it would be useful to make a list of the supported 3rd party wiimotes..if I buy one of it, I'll post it here

I have tried and tried to get my lists sticky but admins just wont do it. If they would just make one sticky ( ovoid further positing ) I'd be happy to keep it up to date and receive PMS to ad to it. We desperately need a single post that help people know what works and not one post with 6 pages of junk to sort though.

I have these items,
Bluetooth Dongle
Wiimote Motion+ & Nunchuck
Wireless Sensor Bar
TOSHIBA Bluetooth Drivers(with Windows 7 ones, Dolphin register Wiimote, but don't register any buttons/movement)

I have 3 problems with SS.

1. Wiimote randomly disconnects in bluetooth area while playing SS on Dolphin. This is very irritating, because your progress will be lost since after you reconnect the Wiimote in-game, this "connect motion plus" screen isn't going anywhere. Any expert, based on my items, can tell me what is wrong with my build?

2. Calibration. After playing 15-30 minutes, some stuff like Dowsing(Viewing), Aiming, Menu, Map, Flying, Balancing and so on, becomes unplayable. Which means I have to restart, problably loose a progress due to disconnect or stuck inside testing calibration menu. Which brings you to 3rd problem.

3. At the start of the game, these menus, connect nunchuck, motion plus, then calibration, randomly work. Sometimes calibration test resets after 2 sec on it's own, doesn't even allowing me to choose on my Nunchuck to test again, and showing all over again these menus. Any advice what can I do here?


Also I have 3 questions about Wiimote:
- How you calibrate Wiimote, should you shake it, move it, or just still. If still, then where should I keep it in my hands, at what distance between monitor and sensor bar?
- What should be distance between sensor bar and monitor?
- What should be distance between wiimote and monitor?

Thanks in advance. Looking for expert help. I really want to enjoy fully SS, but with these problems I have, I can't even reach 1st dungeon.

i have a regular non motion plus wiimote, what can i do? or do i HAVE to buy motion plus?

You have to. Or try Emulated wiimote eventually
