Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I am using dolphin 3.0, and the games i play start off fine, but after about 5 min the fps just drops, like from 60 fps to 20 fps. I have checked the specs, and aside from the fact that I am using Intel Express Chipset, which is not something i can really help, the number don't seem to indicate that it should happen, any thoughts on why? I can keep reinstalling dolphin every 5 mins (which actually fixes the problem), but that's just silly.

Any ideas why?

It sounds like your pc is overheating, use realtemp and make sure everything is okay, also post your specs & settings incase thats not the problem

Specs? What type of cpu are you using? If it's a clarkdale it might be overheating.
