I've tried Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Super Mario Sunshine & Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Melee on Athlon 64 3200+@2.4GHz few months ago yet, on older revisions theese games were going from 30-20fps average. Now on Phenom II 945@3GHz(stock) most of the time run fullspeed but with Radeon 4870.

wtf i got a core i7 for 4000grand so i could run dolphin at those speeds, becuase my old Intel 2.66 Dual Core couldn't handle it

overclocked my core i7 920 to 4.1
when all cores are runnigna t full speed i get 69 celous air cooled

yep only way I can do it since my bios doesn't support it.
We all know that he means he clocked it to 2.3ghz and not his fsb, we are just trying to find ways to pick on him ^^ But yeah, it seems like wow if there is 20fps on 2ghz thats about 1fps per 100mhz, and 2.3ghz would only give about a 3fps upgrade right? well, no, because with 2.0ghz you arent emulating the wiis cpu at full speed, rather at probably about 80% speed or less, which destroys the framerate, however with the extra .3ghz you gained enough speed to emulate the wiis cpu totaly for that game in perticular, which means that your framerate will jump up drasticly.
