Is it a real wii remote or a 3rd party?
I am using a real Nintendo Wii remote.
No motion plus, if that matters. It is from the original launch.
I have the same problem but i am on Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
When i start the Dolphin it says something about xwidget and it cant find my wiimote, been trying to use darwiinremote also. The darwiin can find my mote.
And the other thing is the games dosent run it never loads.
Haven“t tried your build yet, gonna download that second zip of yours and try it.
lesk, this may sound like a noob question but, is your bluetooth turned off? It is in the system preferences. Make sure it is on.

i made a new thread regarding my problem as i dont have Lion.
"dolphin wont work on my mac" And it was the same with the build i downloaded on this thread. Gives me that xwidget error and i cant start a game.
I believe that is a different issue. I read something yesterday about using a different version of Xwidget or something now.

Compiled another revision if it still doesn't work with the last.
The Wii remote problem seems to be resolved. And now that I got it running on my mac, I would like to bring up something else.
The shading seems to be all out of whack. Every build I've gotten to at least display the game some of the shading looks really weird. Like in Zelda TP for Wii the opening chat the guys eyes and just around them look really bright and the rest of his face is really dark and Link's cheek looks like it has an indent in it. This hap end in other games as well.
Any ideas of how to fix?
I can not begin to thank you enough.
You're welcome. Unfortunatly trere is no fix for the shading problem, it's an issue with nvidia drivers on the Mac. So unless you buy a MacBook Pro with an ati card you will have the problem or hope they update the drivers. In some games like Mario galaxy you can help by turning lighting off in the bottom left under hacks.
Actually I take that back, I was told the problem is fixed on nVidia Fermi chips.
