I have a similar problem on my Hackintosh. It used to work great, but now, with every build I try, it freezes after the strap screen. Changing the emulation core doesn´t help.
I suspect the nvidia driver is interfering in some way, but every single option I choose doesn´t fix the problem, however I remember that exactly the same hardware used to run fine
maybe a year back. I just came to this forum for asking the same question, ans saw winks360 having the same issue.
please help.
My specs are:
MSI p45 platinum and a intel Q9650 CPU with 8gb ram.
Nvidia GTS250 craphics card.
10.6.4 OS X

Here you go, sorry, new to dropbox.
Elxiliath, thank you for your build. but I get the same kind of problem with yours.
Also, It seems that which ever build I use, it loads the same config file over and over again. For instance, some isos
i added a while back in the days when dolphin used to work still appear in my list, even with your build.
How do i clean up my system from a previous configuration?
So it works well with my GameCube games but when I have my wii remote connected and start up a Wii iso it quits right away, but when I start a Wii iso without a wii remote connected it starts up??

I'm having the same problem as OP... I downloaded your build, Elxiliath, and it got past the title screen without unexpectedly quitting the program! However, I have no controls - none of my keys on my keyboard do anything anymore, so I can't press start to begin the game. Any idea what's up? The keyboard stuff is configured correctly, as it is by default.

My specs:

MacBook Pro
Processor 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

Thanks.
The problem with the controls not working, I am unsure of what is causing the problem, I'm going to have to look at it. I never really noticed the problem, but when I've loaded save states its said my controller was disconnect. Though after pressing the emulated "A" button I was reconnected. Have you tried reloading the the controller settings?

I'm compiling a new build right now to test, should also increase fps on mac.
We I am just using an actual wii remote. but I have tried reconnecting, quitting and reconnecting,, and delete reinstall and reconnecting.
Maybe I can rollback the files associated with using a wii remote. Probably wont be till tomorrow.
