I am a slight noob at using emulators. I downloaded dolphin and have a few .iso files of some Wii games I own. But when I try to run the emulator it starts up and runs for a little until it is just about to get to the title screen, then it suddenly quits "unexpectedly" on me.
I am using Dolphin 3.0-201 on OS X Lion 10.7.2
Games I am trying to run are, Zelda Twilight Princess, Zelda Wind Waker, MarioKart Wii
I get the Wii remote connected fine, on Zelda TP and MarioKart it shows the Wii safety strap screen and fades out, then quits and on Zelda Wind Waker the fades in Nintendo and then Dolby Surround Sound II and fades out, then quits.
Any Ideas of what I'm doing wrong?
You cannot use 3.0-201. The only way I have got that build to work was to compile myself and even then it had problems with some games on my MacBook. Try using an older build such as 3.0 on the download page. Or if you really want a newer build I can post a link to one I've compiled.

So I used App Zapper and deleted Dolphin and all it's files, and tried all the older versions. Still no luck, some of them would quit right away and others would last just as long before quitting. but none have worked yet. Can I try yours?

I had a thread on this too somewhat and have mac. yeah 3.0-201 wasnt good. But 3.0 the actual release works better for me. The only problem I get now, is my ps3 controller the buttons don't do what they're supposed to do. Like my left movement, will punch. Even though in the controller settings, left is the left button. Any thoughts?
