Yeah I can't get an old model. I could only return it, but then I don't have anything. I really hope this gets fixed so I can finally play. Wanted to get a wiimote for this for so long and now that I do it's doesn't work lol. Sad

I just bought today the Wii Motion+ INSIDE controller and it works perfectly with Zelda: SS.

BTW, It's a black one, And it's without the TR (just RVL-CNT-01)

I think the best solution for someone who thinks about buying is
to ask for an older vertion of the Wii Motion+ INSIDE.
Maybe the box has the model no'... i don't know

Where did you buy it?

It doesn't matter where you buy it. Its just the new model that Nintendo shipped out. This new model started appearing on shelfs around Novemeber 25th from my estimates

I too purchased a new WiiMote Plus only to discover it was a RVL-CNT-01-TR (Product ID 0x0330, Vendor ID 0x057E) unit and thus would not work with Dolphin. I went to exchange it and the salesperson informed me that there were no older units still in stock. On a whim I exchanged it for a WiiPlay Motion bundle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Play:_Motion) and when I got home I discovered that it had a RVL-CNT-01 (Product ID 0x0306, Vendor ID 0x057E) unit, which works perfectly with Dolphin 3.0.

For others who might want to do the same the details on my WiiPlay Motion box were as follows:

74274A / RVL R SC8E (Printed on the back of the box next to the bar code)
BFC-WKA)RVL-SC8E-USZ-C0 (On the tabs when you open the box)
Inside the working WiiMote Plus the following codes are present:
LMB-RVL-WR/M-C2

Anyone able to help?

Keep it. Someone will work on this and get the new controllers to work eventually.
I made some modifications to the the source to allow the new RVL-CNT-01-TR to be detected by dolphin.
Here is a the compiled version:

However, no input appears to work yet. I'm still working on it. I just provided this build to help others debug what the changes are.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A WORKING BUILD FOR THE RVL-CNT-01-TR!!!

^ Note this is only 64 bit. I haven't been able to get the 32 bit version to compile yet.

Thank you, will do that then.

Thank you for working on it, great that it's getting detected already.

It matters because Nintendo specifically requested all retail shops to return the old batch back to them.
