Hey guys,
I recently got Dolphin, when through all the pages of this forum, made dolphin work with Toshiba bluetooth stack work with my USB dongle on my Asus laptop, played about 10 times on with both of my RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimotes perfectly. Usualy when i take a brake i keep Dolphin opened with the game open and when i come back from my brake, the game say that the player one is not detected
anymore.
In that case, i just restart Dolphin and reconnect my wiimotes by deleting them from the Toshiba bluetooth stack and re-adding them and then i can play again, but last night when it told me that player 1 wasn't detected anymore, i tried to delete and re-add my wiimotes from the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, but when i was connecting them, the wiimotes were instantly disconecting.
So i decided to uninstall and reinstall the driver this morning, but now when i try to add my wiimotes by using the express mode, it detect my wiimote, but when i click next after choosing the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote, the Toshiba stack try to connect to the wiimote, but it say "Registration failed, try again?".
I didn't find any thread on internet talking about this sort of problem, does anyone has a solution?
Edit: I formated my laptop just now, reinstaled the latest toshiba bluetooth stack and latest dolphin, the toshiba bluetooth stack still disconect the wiimotes instantly.

I know this thread is old, but to give possible readers a clue:
be careful when synching with Toshiba stack: press 1+2 and wait till blinking is over. Afterwards press any button, for example "A" (no leds blink this time) and THEN go on with the installation.
The WiiRemote Plus will remain connected then

It is old but much overlooked glitch
edit: if it states "Bluetooth not ready" just plug out & -in your dongle

Did someone changed the pairing protocol the last year or is it still broken? I was asked after the Toshiba Stack...(which i found in an old backup folder
) And this is more like sneaky oil which masks the broken protocol...

i looked a few months ago into the whole problem,
but gosh i forgot about it and was to lazy setting up the compiler
the emulated wiimotes are responding to the wiimote status commands... i couldnt find the realWiimote Counterpart
jeah but the developer are just saying everything is fine... with "original" wiimotes... nothing to do here... neither if its a false implementation of the protoctol

I have this version of the wiimote and have followed some of this thread but I am getting confused as all hell. Explain it like you think I'm a five year old because when it comes to this stuff thats pretty much what I am.
1. Download the toshiba stack here:
http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm
(might have to click it a few times to get it to work)
2. Get your bluetooth dongle's hardware ID and then uninstall it. Go to control panel, device manager, and click on bluetooth radios. Right click the listed device (ignore the enumerator one), click properties, go to the details tab, and select Hardware ID. It should list something like
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148&REV_0818
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148
The second number is what you want. Copy that down in notepad.
Now uninstall the device. Then go back to Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, and look for any bluetooth software there and uninstall it.
3. Unplug your bluetooth device.
4. Now extract the zip you downloaded and run setup. Once you get the message to plug in your bluetooth device, open windows explorer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\Drivers\tosrfusb\
Do not close the installer, just leave it where it is.
5. Copy tosfrusb.inf (or the one described as "system information") into a different folder. You can't edit it directly where it is. Then open the copied one in notepad and add your hardware ID to it. You'll see two lists that start with "%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc1%=TosrfUsb_Device". The % number increases depending on how many are on the list, ending at 149. They have device IDs next to them. Add your device Id to the bottom of each one, like so:
%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150%=TosrfUsb_Device, USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148
At the very bottom of the file is a place for the device description. Name it whatever you want, though preferrably the actual name of the device. Example:
TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150 = "IOGEAR USB 2.1 Bluetooth Micro Adapter (GBU421)"
6. Save changes, then copy the modified tosfrusb.inf back into the original folder. Then plug in your bluetooth device and finally click ok on the installer message. Everything should install as planned and then you will be asked to restart. Do so and everything will be successfully installed.
So after following these steps, it appears that my Non-Toshiba Bluetooth is finally working with Toshiba Stack (I tried installing it earlier before I found this post and it wouldn't Install, but now it runs fine). I tested Wiimote functionality with one of the Old Plusses (non TR because I don't have one yet, but planning on getting some in future). It is working properly.
My question is, I've read that with a Non-Toshiba device, the Toshiba software will only work for a month as trial. If we follow the above steps, is it still only a month? Or is it permanent. Did the steps trick Toshiba Stack into thinking that my non-Toshiba adapter is Toshibian?

The Toshiba Stack will tell you if it's a trial. Mouse over the icon in the task bar and see?

ahh, I see. So, the editing of programme files only makes the adapter visible/acceptable to the installation of the Bluetooth stack driver. It is still evaluation. But i read somewhere that the evaluation status is easily "corrected" by downloading and overwriting a .dll file or something

I wanna make sure this is a problem with the 2 refurb wiimotes Nintendo sent me and not dolphin. Has anybody else had problems with the motion plus controls being inverted? The wiimote works fine in normal games. Like I tried Wii Sports. Bowling worked fine. Wii Sports Resort? I had to turn the controller over to get it to work right. Skyward Sword everything is backwards. I've tried re-calibrating and attempted to whack it a few times to see if that helped. Nintendo gave up on the first remote and sent me a 2nd for free which is also doing it. Googling seems to show other people within the past 2-3 months with the same problem which leads me to believe somebody at the factory where they refurb this is failing at his job.

Ya'll would probably be better off sticking to the original wiimotes and buying the motion plus separately. They are cheap on ebay now. If you use the program wiiconnect, it will auto pair for you and you don't need mouse interaction (like with the toshiba stack) if you put its shortcut in the startup folder. You can even turn the wiimote off via the power button and back on again with the power button without issue.

Guide :

Dont install USB-BT400 driver, just check and complete the guide. BT400 is compatible.
After. To have a staying connected RVL-036 with USB-BT400.
