Maybe your bluetooth dongle isn't supported. -> http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices

This list is a bit old, but I couldn't find the better list here in the forums.

I have.
i got usb device and it works perfect
Really hate to beat a dead horse here....long story short I have the TR version. Bluetooth device recognizes it and installs it. Dolphin recognizes it (says 1 remote is paired) but the lights keep flashing, can't get it to actually work in game.

I downloaded Toshiba stack, it keeps telling me to "connect the usb device" during install. I uninstalled my bluetooth drivers and plugged it in when prompted, Toshiba stack just wont recognize it. I'm pretty much giving up at this point but if anyones got a step-by-step, greatly appreciated.
Can you try with an other bluetooth dongle? (a cheap one)
I suspect your hardware is incompatible.

I'll have to pick up another one and try it out. I grabbed a $20 USB 4.0 dongle like a jerk thinking it'd be better.

make sure the Hardware ID is in the Toshiba tosrfusb.inf driver file, if not you have to put it manually in order to detected the USB dongle.
