is this something that will be fixed in the near future? should i just keep the one i have and wait it out or try to find an older model.
i broke down and bought the new zelda and really wanted to play it on my pc in 1080 instead on my aging wii. ugh.

i guess i can just borrow my neighbors m+ add-on with my original white wiimote in the mean-time. i just hope it gets patched/fixed so i can use my own new shiny black m+ version.
borrow my buddies m+ add-on... worked awesome, now of course he bought zelda and needed it back. been trying the emulated m+ for now...
Hey I thought I would give some information on my Wii-mote. Mine is a Black Official Wii Remote Plus that was shipped to me on Nov 22nd from Buy.com. I haven't had the chance to try it in Dolphin since I have no way of connecting it at the moment. However, it doesn't work with homebrew applications on my Wii, but it works for everything else. I'm thinking it's a TR version. For right now, I just want to find a way to identify the TR ones without the need of connecting it to a computer.
Marking in the back of mine: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4
So far I'm thinking anything with a Z instead of an M will be a TR version, but I made that conclusion with a couple codes.
What about the aftermarket remotes like POWER A Pack Mini Plus here:
link
It says "Plus" on it so I assume it has the Plus in it like the new Wiimotes
Are these capable of working with Dolphin?

Maybe, on revisions later than about 3.0-150. The only way to know is to try it. However, genuine ones are recommended.
Why the genuine ones? I have to buy new and the PowerA one's for $35 a set rather then $60 for a genuine set sounds good...

For whatever reason they send weird data compared to genuine ones. This
may have been fixed in newer revs but they still disconnect more and don't work as well.
by disconnecting, do you mean from the Bluetooth?
I'm having the same problem. Brand new official motion+ from Amazon, and it's a TR version. Is this a problem with dolphin that will be fixed soon, is anyone working on it, or should I just send it back to Amazon? I would rather keep it because sending it back is a giant hassle, but not if this won't be fixable by the good people working on Dolphin.
Anyone able to help?
if you can return it and get an older model that works...I tried but all storesonly have the new models now
