So, the white one and black one both are TRs?

What about the gold Zelda one?

masters

I had everything working fine on the Toshiba stack with the TR Wiimote but then I ran an update in Windows 8 and now the wiimote turns off the second the connection is created to

the PC. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Toshiba Stack but no change. Any ideas?
change Wiimote batteries or remove/replace it and Add a new connexion to Toshibastack
Well I am just going to buy one of the motion plus add on things from amazon to ensure that it works since nobody will answer my question.

About the WiiMote RVL-CNT-01-TR issue. I have a black WiiMote (RVL-CNT-01-TR, yes the one with Wii MotionPlus inside) and it is working perfect for me.

All I had to do to get it upp and running was:
1. Put the batteries in the WiiMote
2. Buy a cheap USB bluetooth-dongle (mine is a Belkin, other should work fine)
3. Install Toshiba Bluetooth stack 8.00.03, uninstall Win7 bluetooth stack (my bluetooth is integrated with my WiFi, thats why I needed a USB dongle)
4. Insall Dolphin (I use v3.5-144)
5. Open "Bluetooth settings" from the taskbar in Windows 7
6. Add a new connection (Express Mode), press button 1+2 on the WiiMote when you want to conect it
7. The WiiMote probably gets disconected, just click connect it in the Toshiba suit BUT THIS TIME PRESS THE A-BUTTON!
8. In Dolphin click the Wiimote button, then refresh

All done!!!

Hope it helps and that my description isn't to confusing.

Thanks for replying. I do have a cheapo rocketfish Bluetooth adapter from my laptop, but the range sucks so I would rather use my other bluetooth that is PCI and has a massive antenna. I get like 100 feet out of that thing.

But you do what you gotta do. I may just buy a motion plus add on from amazon. Anybody know much about those?

I belive you could use Toshibas bluetooth stack with your card (asuming it's not a laptop and that it is not a combined PCI card with WiFi)

If you already have a WiiMote and just want to add the +Plus, there should not be a problem with the connection... after all your WiiMote is already working (the WiiMotes without the -TR ending can connect to your PC if you have Win7 bluetooth stack)
If you dont have a WiiMote, then DON'T buy from a 3rd part manufacturer, the original ones work better with PCs.

The WiiMotes that work with Win7 bluetooth stack is: the gold Zelda one with +Plus and every WiiMote without the ending -TR
You only need Toshibas bluetooth stack if you can't connect to your PC (or keep the WiiMote conected), usualy with the WiiMotes that has -TR at the end
3rd part WiiMotes could work, but you could also get one that you simply can't conect to your PC

That's what I wanted.

So, I will have to find the Zelda gold one or just get the motion plus add on.
I have a Bluetooth + WiFi PCI card so I can't change drivers.

Thank you!

Well, after a quick search on amazon, all of the motion plus add on things are aftermarket and very cheap quality.

So, I guess I will just buy a black RVL-CNT-01-TR and use my rocket fish Bluetooth USB adapter from my laptop and install the Toshiba drivers.

Do the toshiba drivers also help make the 3rd party wiimotes work better?
So I did it. I bought at Black Wii Remote Plus. (TR)

I got the Toshiba drivers working with an el cheapo Bluetooth adapter and I will get to play skyward sword on Saturday!
