After reading everything, and not success, since couldn't make Toshiba Bluetooth Stack works with my BT device. found out that there is a 9.0 version (Google for it)

Installed it, no issues, restarted, the program with autorun, just cancel, and Add New connection, Press 1 and 2 so it finds the Wiimote, it will install, after it appears in the windows, right click and connect, Press A on the wiimote(lights will blink), then OK in the windows, it will connect,

Open Dolphin, Go to Wiimote Option, and set it to use Real Wiimote, and it should vibrate. and everything works nice.

I just bought a white RVL-CNT-01-TR today not knowing all the crap I'd have to go through, got home and a few hours later finally got things sorted. I couldn't have done it without all the info from this site so I wanted to say thanks and post what worked for me. Both of my BT adapters were not compatible with the Toshiba stack so I had to patch my .inf file. For those people getting stuck on the Toshiba stack install where you're asked to plug in your BT device, follow the guide linked below along with my steps. Anyway I'll try to make this quick but here's what I did.

Tested on win7ult64bit with dolphin 3.0-766, Toshiba BT Stack 8.00.02, wiimote plus M/N RVL-CNT-01-TR and both a kensington and rocketfish micro BT adapter. Here's the link for Toshiba stack...http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm

1. Uninstall all 3rd party BT drivers, bluesol, Toshiba stack etc.
***If you can install Toshiba stack with no problems and don't need to patch skip steps 2-4.***
***Sukid made a guide on patching the inf file here .inf patch guide it explains exactly how to find your ID and patch.***

2. Plug in your BT adapter and get the hardware ID from device manager/btdevice/details.

3. After you copied the ID uninstall your BT driver through device manager and unplug your dongle.

4. Install Toshiba BT stack and patch when the installer asks you to connect your BT device, leave the installer open while patching. When the patched file is copied plug in your adapter then click okay to finish installing. You may get a popup asking if it is okay to install the driver. Restart

5. Start Toshiba BT express wizard, hit a+b on wiimote, let it find the device then install.

6.To connect hit the red sync button on wiimote then select connect in the Toshiba connection wizard, all lights should be blinking. Close the device window and open dolphin. Click the wimote button and it should pair automatically.

Everything seems to work I've been playing Xenoblade for the past 4 hours. One thing to note is that every time you power off you need to repeat step 6. There might be better ways to get this going but I'm just happy everything is working right now. Thanks again people.

Hallo,

First: very great Thread, i succesfull "installed" my wiimote " RVL-CNT-01" i didnt see anywhere "TR" but it is a built in Motion Plus
but its a little bit tricky:

i have the Toshiba Blueooth Stack with a Generic USB Bluetooth installed on my Computer.
i followed the instruction and edited the "tosfrusb.inf" file.
i have the newest Dolphin, but if i want connect the wiimote it works only this way:

toshiba bluetooth stack open, i push 1+2 or sync on the wiimote, toshiba connect (it goes only any seconds), so push in dolphin very fast refresh than works. is it so normal?

if i doesnt click refresh in dolphin it will takes approx 10 seconds (when the wiimote ends blinking) it disconnected in Toshiba.

my other problem is, if i want to connect a second wiimote it doesnt works, a couldnt feel any "rumble effect" in the wiimote that i will connectas "second"

in toshiba i make this way:
connect the first wiimote (wiimote sync, toshiba connect, dolphin refresh.) OK!
connect the second (wiimote sync, toshiba connect, dolphin refresh, i can see 2 controllers connected, but i doesnt feel any rumble effect, an in any seconds is the second controller disconnected :/ )

can anybody help me please?
(i hope you understand my bad english ^^)

This happens to me as well when I hit a+b it just connects then disconnects after a few seconds. When I hit sync however it connnects and stays connected untill I open a game or dolphin's wiimote menu. It sounds like you can get it connected and working so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I only use one controller so I'm not sure, you could always go get another BT dongle and everything should work. They are cheap as hell online. I've read a couple of posts about connecting more than one controller so poke around the forums a bit more if you don't want to buy another dongle. You really just have to keep troubleshooting. Are your wiimote model numbers the same? Try connecting both of them individually first to make sure they both work before trying for both.

is it enough if you open toshiba, pressing on wiimote sync or 1+2, connect ?
have you than a "full" connection ?

or musst you also open dolphin and if the wiimote connects in toshiba, you musst press (very fast) refresh and it connects?

(also i musst, retry this approx 5times if the wiimote connects)

i got it done, but with the same "problems" as with 1 controller (approx 5 times, connect/refresh...)

thank you for your help !

First off I never use a+b to connect the controller if I do it just connects then a second later disconnects. If I hit sync then connect it stays connected and I can go into dolphin and everything is fine. I can also just tap the A button then connect and again it will stay connected.

There are a ton of guides on here to get the controller working, if you can't get it going just try another method. I read a post where someone said that if you're getting disconnected right after you connect you can take out the wiimote battery put it back in then hit sync and try to connect again. And once you get it connected never hit a+b to connect again just use the sync button or tap A and it should work. Another guy said to use the latest version of Toshiba Stack (ver 9.0) and it worked. I'm on 8.02 and having no problems so I'm not going to bother updating.

If you still can't connect keep in mind every system is different and you might just have to troubleshoot some more. Good luck.
I bought one of these from best buy and if your on linux your screwed. There is no witchbrew to get it to work. Thank god I didnt buy it from a place with a crappy return policy.

It really should be noted on the intial howto page.
Hello, I have noticed that Sukid's tutorial to get the Wiimote+ Working with toshiba Bluetooth stack actually fixed my ASUS dongle on my desktop.

The only problem now is that I would like to repeat the same process on my laptop, but the bluetooth is integrated in the laptop itself.

The concepts of "uninstalling" it was not working at all for me since the moment I uninstalled the drivers they instantly came back.

I am using an Acer Aspire V3-571G with integrated Bluetooth 4.0(?)+HS, OS: Windows 8.

If maybe someone knows if there is a true equivalent of "unplugging/replugging" the bluetooth when prompted to do so, could they please shed some light on these new laptop users? Smile
The idea of using a dongle when I have integrated bluetooth is kinda silly if you ask me Dodgy

I'm so close to cracking this. I'm using Rocketfish Micro Bluetooth Adapter and Windows 8 with RVL-CNT-TR. When I follow the .inf patch guide for Toshiba BT Stack 8.00.02 http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm it still will not find my Bluetooth adapter when I plug it in. I also tried the Toshiba BT Stack 9.00.03 which will install oddly enough but once its in it still says I have no power to my Bluetooth device so I don't think the driver is hooking up with the device if that makes any sense. Also every time I plug the BT adapter in Windows 8 sticks its drivers in which may be the issue but I cant seem to tell Windows 8 I don't want it to do that. Anyone else tacked this in Windows 8 yet?
