I have this one
http://www.amazon.de/Nintendo-Wii-Wireless-Sensor-silver/dp/B00154J9H0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1327785863&sr=8-6
with duracells. I also tried 2 candles.
Bluetooth is a new dell bluetooth chip in an Alienware Laptop. I think bluetooth is not the problem, since the nunchuk and the buttons work just fine.
I only tried the Zelda Twilight Princess. hmm
The cursor is just wildly jumping around and nearly no precision. Just tried with other batteries. Unplayable atm. Could it be the sensor bar? Even when i have the same result with 2 candles?

Hey everyone!
Tried running 3.0-303-dirty, but it crashes on me. I load a game and it black screens "clearing code cache" setup wiimem: cant find setting file and Error compiling at 0.LR=00000000 CTR=000000. Ive been at this for about 4 hours. Finally got the wiimote to work and then BAM! Got this.
very sad...

Hi,
First of all, sorry for my english, but I need your Help...
I'm still having blocking issue with this wiimotion plus controller.
I have followed the process to install correctly the Toshiba stack, my BT dongle is right recognized, I succeeded to detect my wiimote, but unfortunately it doesn't stay connected. I explain: I see the link icon over the wiimote icon into the Toshiba's list of bluetooth prefered devices, but 2 seconds later it disapears and the wiimote is not connected, whereas the wiimote is still detected into the game controllers configuration menu of XP.
I have tried to do this with the Widcomm stack (my BT dongle is a Belkin one), and after found the trick to pass through the pin code validation, the result is nearly the same (the link icon appears over the wiimote icon, then disapears). The only difference, is that sometimes it's running well, by pushing the button A during the link completion, but the most of time it's not running. Besides that, when the link is well established, Dolphin detects well the wiimote.
So my question is: how can I or how do you succeed to have permanent connection of your wiimotion plus with the PC ?
I'm sure there is another trick, and I'm not so far to get it, but I'm despairing, it makes 1 month I'm still blocked.
Thank you by advance for your BIG Help.

Xoppa Wrote:If you used the Microsoft stack before and are now trying the Toshiba stack, consider removing/disabling the bluetooth device manually using the Windows 7 device manager. Including the removal of any paired devices using the device manager. Although some paired devices are not visible in the Microsoft bluetooth manager, they might still be in the device manager (using another device name, which can make it hard to find them). After that reinstall the Toshiba stack (if your device is compatible, i'm not sure about the compatibility of the Toshiba stack, mine came with the Toshiba stack) and don't forget to reboot your system. Make sure the bluetooth device is working correctly using the Toshiba stack before you continue.
To use the TR remote follow these instructions:
1. Click to pair a new device, follow the instructions and press the 1 and 2 button on the TR remote enter discovery mode. The remote should now be listed as paired device.
2. Right click the TR and select connect, a dialog pops up.
3. Press the A button on the remote and click OK on the dialog.
4. The remote should be connected now, but no leds. Check this by pressing the A button, no leds should blink. If leds start to blink restart from 2.
5. Open Dolphin (first close if it was still open), make sure it has the code changes stated above, hit the Wiimote button and press refresh.
6. One led on the TR should light up indicating it's number and the TR rumbles. If not hit refresh again or restart from 2.
The TR should now be fully functional.
The bluetooth adapter I use is the cheapest one available in the local shop:
http://www.sitecom.com/micro-adapter-bluetooth-2-1-usb/p/658
The only drivers I used (besides the default Microsoft (update) drivers ofcourse):
http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm
I had trouble pairing the TR the first few times. Using the above instructions I found it to be working. The problems I experienced ranged from the device not being listed (Microsoft stack) to pairing but no communication (Toshiba stack). Therefor in my experience you should make sure that your bluetooth device is working correctly and that the remote is paired and connected (which might be a problem) before even trying Dolphin. If unsure, use another Wii Remote tool to test (I used WiiYourself!_1.15.zip, although not thorough, use google if needed)

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately it's not a success
Between step 3 & 4, it doesn't connect.
The message is a kind of (after quick translation) : "Connection in progress, please wait", and after few seconds, the message is "A connection from the device is awaited..." with an OK button.
Have you got any ideas ?

I have this version of the wiimote and have followed some of this thread but I am getting confused as all hell. Explain it like you think I'm a five year old because when it comes to this stuff thats pretty much what I am.
1. Download the toshiba stack here:
http://www.sitecom.com/download/4791/toshiba_8.htm
(might have to click it a few times to get it to work)
2. Get your bluetooth dongle's hardware ID and then uninstall it. Go to control panel, device manager, and click on bluetooth radios. Right click the listed device (ignore the enumerator one), click properties, go to the details tab, and select Hardware ID. It should list something like
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148&REV_0818
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148
The second number is what you want. Copy that down in notepad.
Now uninstall the device. Then go back to Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, and look for any bluetooth software there and uninstall it.
3. Unplug your bluetooth device.
4. Now extract the zip you downloaded and run setup. Once you get the message to plug in your bluetooth device, open windows explorer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\Drivers\tosrfusb\
Do not close the installer, just leave it where it is.
5. Copy tosfrusb.inf (or the one described as "system information") into a different folder. You can't edit it directly where it is. Then open the copied one in notepad and add your hardware ID to it. You'll see two lists that start with "%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc1%=TosrfUsb_Device". The % number increases depending on how many are on the list, ending at 149. They have device IDs next to them. Add your device Id to the bottom of each one, like so:
%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150%=TosrfUsb_Device, USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148
At the very bottom of the file is a place for the device description. Name it whatever you want, though preferrably the actual name of the device. Example:
TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150 = "IOGEAR USB 2.1 Bluetooth Micro Adapter (GBU421)"
6. Save changes, then copy the modified tosfrusb.inf back into the original folder. Then plug in your bluetooth device and finally click ok on the installer message. Everything should install as planned and then you will be asked to restart. Do so and everything will be successfully installed.

I solved the issue with dolphin claiming it only supports the microsoft stack while using the toshiba stack. When click new connection, you have to use the advanced setting, not the automatic one. Then start dolphin, go to wii remote and hit refresh and you're done, it works.
Thank you Sukid, this seems to have worked perfectly.

Now i just need a new link to remove the evaluation.

I finally got a full proof way of having a WII mote connect to the dongle with Toshiba now. I see some people had trouble with the A method, as I did too. Because if the WII mote gets new batteries or turns off without a good disconnect you will get that error "The connection has been reset" while trying the A button method.
For some reason this fixed it:
1. First connect the WII mote normally but pressing 1+2 and let Toshiba detect it and connect then disconnect.
2. Then this is the part which makes no sense to me, but works miraculously. Press 1+2 Again but DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE. Let the WII MOTE blink, until it times out (stops blinking.)
3. THEN click connect in the Toshiba settings, when it says looking for device PRESS A or + or Z it doesn't matter, just get the thing to blink. (Just don't hit 1+2 or the Sync button, this resets the sync info.)
It will then connect. And you can click refresh or whatever in dolphin and it will be online.
From this point forward if you safely disconnect the WII mote, you can use the A method connect now every time to sync the same mote. If you accidentally delete the device information or change the batteries, you must restart the TIMEOUT method.
I do not know WHY the timeout method works, there must be a reason for this. But this works for me EVERY single time. IT took me hours of playing around trying different things just to try to figure this out.

Thanks guys for this, really worked ! But do I have to get that Wii Sensor bar for Zelda?
