so the new Wii remote with Motion plus INSIDE does not work?
I just sold my WII since I discovered Dolphin, my old remote worked perfectly but now I got myself a new one and it doesn't get recognized in Doplhin? no workaround?

Not yet, I don't know much about this stuff, but the problem is the the device is a newer version and has a different number or code attached to it, and dolphin doesn't read it. It's likely to be fixed I hope as you can't find the old wii ANYWHERE, since it's black friday all old inventory was sent back, can't get a wii + remote either...
*This is just my theory, based on what I've read about this issue.

It does work.
I just bought today the Wii Motion+ INSIDE controller and it works perfectly with Zelda: SS.
BTW, It's a black one, And it's without the TR (just RVL-CNT-01)
I think the best solution for someone who thinks about buying is
to ask for an older vertion of the Wii Motion+ INSIDE.
Maybe the box has the model no'... i don't know

Just got a new Wiimote from amazon, and it comes up as RVL-CNT-01-TR on my mac.
In the event that this takes a while for a work around, the least I can do is put up information from the box. I don't have an older Wiimote box around with which to compare it, but maybe someone else does.
Top of box: "USZ"
Front: (nothing interesting)
Left Side: (nothing interesting)
Right Side: (nothing interesting)
Back side: (nothing interesting)
Bottom side: "RVL A WRKA USZ"
If that is any different from an earlier version's box, perhaps this can help people not buy the newest one until a workaround happens.
Just for a bit more information, the marking on the inside of the wii remote plus is LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C6. Take note that this is a black new wiimote. The markings from the white (old) wiimote are LMA-RVL-WR/M-C0.

As i said, I bought yesterday the Black version of the Wii Motion+ INSIDE remote and it works great (from a retailer in my country)
Inside the wiimote, behind the batteries it says: LMB-RVL-WR/M-C0
And in the PC it's just RVL-CNT-01
This information is on the model that works!

I just got a new, white Wii Remote Plus from Amazon. Didn't realize Dolphin was having trouble with these controllers. Super bummed it's not working. In OS X, the Bluetooth Setup Assistant calls it "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR", but the model number on the side of the remote is RVL-036. In the Dolphin Wiimote Configuration window, I hit the Refresh button under the Real Wiimote section, hit 1+2 on my remote, and wait. The remote blinks for a few seconds, then nothing.

Should I expect this to be fixed? Unfortunately, even if the issue's addressed it probably won't matter. Games run incredibly well on Dolphin 3.0 on my Mac, but not at all on 3.0-201 or 3.0-204...
any updates with Dolphin? I just bought one black wii remote, same issue, so upset!!!
I'm one of those with a RVL-CNT-01-TR. I came across this thread seeing that others had issues.
If any of you need me to help test anything out, let me know.
I guess I should wait a while before I get another wii motion plus. I wonder though, are the gold remotes like this as well?
