hmmm

with the Toshiba Stack is it working, but that is only a 30day Demo - will there be any solution that it work with the normal Microsoft Stack?

I can under Windows 7 64bit connect the Wii Remote with my computer without any problem - only Dolphin doesen't recognize it correct.

e.g. Wii is connected in Windows; I start dolphin and it display "1 connected" BUT the 1 light on the wii remote is not active. If i pair it again up - it can't connect - sometimes the driver can't be installed or (if the driver installation work) the Wii doesen't connect with the Dolphin.
I have the same problem as explained here:

(12-27-2011, 08:39 AM)Annihilator Wrote: [ -> ]While it at first found the TR wiimote with the toshiba stack, it couldn't connect. I then tried again and now it just says "detection of remote device failed" instantly when trying to search for it. When hitting "pair up" in dolphin it just says "No supported bluetooth device found, only the microsoft bluetooth stack is supported".

Great. But yeah I can't even get a new connection working with the toshiba stack now, anyone else got this problem? I already added my hardware ID to the inf file.

I have a Targus USB bluetooth dongle and had to edit the tosrfusb file, after which it seemingly installed fine. It then found the TR mote, but couldn't connect to it. I deleted everything bluetooth related and installed again thinking something went wrong in the installation process, but now it just says "Detection of remote device failed" instantly through both express and custom search. It doesn't seem to even try to search for anything, just shows that error right away.

I also tried 3.0-337 "Merge branch wiimote" with the bluetooth drivers that came along with my Targus dongle. Old non TR mote works fine as usual, the new TR mote seems to pair up fine with windows, but the Dolphin doesn't detect it at all. A couple of times I got it to detect with the targus drivers (Widcomm bluetooth software) as in it said 1 real wiimote connected, but the mote did not actually vibrate and no input worked in game. Same thing with an older 3.0-303 Dolphin that I had been using earlier with the old mote.

Many users seem to have gotten it to work with the Toshiba stack, shame I can't seem to get the stack to work. I'm trying to find a way to get it to work without this stack, but with my limited knowledge I'm not really getting anywhere.
I seem to be able to get Dolphin to find the mote with windows stack when I use the pair up button and the bluetooth sync button under the battery cover in the controller. The controller shows up with the pair up button and it says "1 connected". The lights on the controller however wont stop flashing and no input works in game still.

there is a problem with the new revision for dolphin which includes the wiimote fix when using the windows bluetooth stack, while this time around it recognizes the remote and connects it the LED for player one doesn't turn on and it doesn't rumble therefore making it unusable. The toshiba stack still works
I somehow managed to get the Toshiba stack up and operational, and now the new remote does indeed work! I'm not sure why it works now, all I did differently from before was that I disabled the bluetooth function then re-enabled it and now it found both my old and new remotes just fine. However there is the "30 day evaluation period" problem so I'm still interested in finding out if it's possible to get it to work with other stacks.
I tried installing the Toshiba stack, but it doesn't detect my IOGEAR bluetooth dongle, so that's a no-go. I'm going to try the official IOGEAR drivers, see if that does anything, then report back here.

Did you modify the tosrfusb.inf file to include your device hardware ID when the installation asks you to insert a bluetooth device? There was a guide how to do that at page 22 written by Sukid. Make sure you type everything exactly right. I had to do it a couple of times. If you get it working, try disabling and re-enabling the bluetooth function from the bluetooth icon and use the sync button below the controller's battery case to pair up, that worked for me.

Hello, I'm french.. excuse me for my english... Confused

I have a Reekin bluetooth dongle and tried the Toshiba driver with the patch for Dolphin : my wiimote motion plus inside (generic) is working great !.... but on Windows XP... and the Toshiba driver say it is limited in time, I only have 30 days to play with my wiimote+ !!??Sad

I usually use Linux, is there a similar method to the bluetooth dongle recognize the wiimote on Ubuntu 11.10 64bits ? the wiimote is still recognized as a RVL-CNT-01 and can't be used with Dolphin. But Wmgui let me test the wiimote and I can use it as a mouse, so ubuntu recognize the wiimote, Dolphin not. Why ?Huh

Thanks for your great work !
Just to confirm do you have to install the toshiba stack for this to work with the TR wimote? I thought it was posted before that you could use either wiimote with just the windows stack, as the code had been merged. maybe i misunderstood - can someone please explain?

Also is it posible to install a windows stack and toshiba stack at the same time?

for me at least it only works with the toshiba stack. the windows stack only recognizes it and connects to dolphin but you can't use it in games
