So I have both versions and am wondering which one is the best of the two for the emulator? I want the one that runs the smoothest and works best with the 360 controller.
Not sure which way to go here, also I never saw exactly what type of files the emulator takes is it ISO's?
You're better off going with the GC version since it was made for a controller. Speed should be the same.
Both are fine, GC version will work better with your 360 controller, the Wii version have native 16:9 support, but all things are mirrored in relation to GC version...

There are two versions: V0 and V2. The former is the one with all the bugs.
as in the game version, does it say on the pack or is there a way to tell from booting the game?
I believe you can tell by looking at the serial number on the disc.
