*Buys a Skymont*
*Buys a skymont, sticks a bucket on the top, and fills the bucket with LN2 and OCs the whole rig to ridiculous levels*
Great news, I was waiting this cpu before upgrading my obsolete i5 750. I'll have to wait a few months but I see an Ivy Bridge in my near future.

Then you got something real sweet waiting for you because it will blow you away.
Which one are you going to get, the 3770K?

@ ExtremeDude2 and AnyOldName3

I thought you guys were joking with that Skymont thing but when I Googled it I realized it was the future CPUs from Intel.

Still a couple of years left though.
They do have to design whole new CPU micro-architectures. I challenge you do do the same, but faster.

And yet you're the ones making jokes of buying Skymont so I challenge you instead.

I have no interest in designing CPU micro-architectures.

Naturally you're going to say you're happy with it since you bought it, but the actual difference for the price is probably not worth it right now.

Maybe you're right that a upgrade from one good CPU to another might not be justified at the moment for everybody, but you should know that I'm crazy and do crazy things by now.

Believe me when I say the games runs much much smoother now and that justified it for me instantly.
That Sandy Bridge just had to go...

Would you say it will run just as fine with the 3770? I feel like I should of spent the extra 20-70(70 since I was thinking about using water cooling). Undecided
Get a K version of the CPU, always.
You're going to regret it if you attempt to play heavier games that require some OC'ing.

Besides, you don't need watercooling. Air cooling is more than enough and costs a whole lot less money and stress. Smile
