I'm not sure if you will be able to use the OpenGL plugin with a Radeon 9600, I believe the Radeon 9600 is about as old as the Geforce FX line of cards, which I believe doesn't support the requirement of OpenGL 2.1. Also Radeon's are notorious for their poor OpenGL support, especially on the older models of Radeon cards.

Have you tried using the Direct X plugin to see if you are able to boot any games, you will have to download an older build of the DirectX plugin as the newer builds don't work correctly since it is undergoing development.

he got a 9600 gso, which is an ~2(?) year old nvidia card.

in any case, it can run opengl 2.1 without any problem.


with ati 9600, you are right, that one is ogl 2.0

I thought he said a Radeon 9600, I just woke up when I read that, haven't had much sleep and have been stressed the last week.

My bad if I stated my video card weirdly. I have a Asus Nvidia 9600 gso. (8800 gs remade). Sorry for confusion but it seemed to have been a problem in recent updates but was resolved. Everything works fine on newest rvn. Thanks for the help.
