I wouldn't consider that a "fantastic" air cooler, it's an OK air cooler.

That's completely wrong. Both the GTX 460 and GTX 560 have 336 SPs, the GTX 560 TI has 384. The primary difference between the GTX 460 1GB and GTX 560 is the GTX 560 has higher core clock, shader clock, and memory clock frequencies, consumes less power (due to improved use of low leakage transistors), produces less heat, and has a better reference cooler that runs it at a lower temperature. The GTX 560 is supposed to replace the GTX 460 1GB. The slightly cheaper GTX 460 regular has 768MB of vram instead of 1024MB, 24 ROPs instead of 32 (3/4 pixel fillrate), and a 192 bit wide memory bus instead of 256 bit (3/4 memory bandwidth) making is significantly slower than the GTX 460 1GB especially at high resolutions.

Lol I don think so.
There is atleast $30 difference,usually $40 if you are looking at the same manufacturer

Saving $40 and then overclocking 460 to the same speeds is not something I would call brain damage.

The GTX560 isn't a good deal. Its price is too high. You should get a 6870, and if you got more money a GTX560 Ti.
BTW a good 500W PSU will be enough, even if you overclock your CPU. Get an Antec HCG or a Seasonic S12II/M12II.

Looks like board manufacturers are finally starting to lower their GTX 460 prices.
The GTX 560 can be clocked much higher than the 460 and requires substantially less voltage to do it. It uses less power, produces less heat, runs colder, and clocks much higher.

????? How is it priced too high? Its performance is almost exactly halfway in between the GTX 460 1GB and GTX 560 TI and so is its price.
