strongest pokemon?
generation 1 mewtwo. once you have him on full EV he is the strongest , legit & none-glitched, pokemon i have EVER seen. im sorry but 411HP + a swift (which is a low dmg attack iirc) killing a LVL60 blastoise (which had high def) is something you will not see anymore today
Actually the 2 Mews you can obtain in Red and Blue is more then legitimate and non-glitched enough for me.
Back in the days I used to level up those 2 as any other obtained Pokémon.
I'm glad they found out about that exploit which actually is pretty easy to do these days.

mew was not as strong as mewtwo. by far. i had a legit one (obtained from a nintendo give-away) and i trained it hard (and was recently lost with the pokemon gold battery that died. † my mew & mewtwo from pokemon red) but it sure wasn't as strong
Yeah that's true, Mewtwo was the strongest of the 2.
But it was convenient having 2 Mew's in you party that could learn every TM and HM.
I stopped playing Pokémon after Red/Blue, I used to have the Blue version.
It was hard as it was keeping track of 151 Pokémon, Gold/Silver/Crystal had 256 if I recall correctly and I said no way.
With the first Pokémon games everything felt so fun and simple.
and gold expanded on it. and it did it well. i would really recommend gold (not the DS remake) or silver. and the 252 (100 new pokemon + celebi) pokemon aren't that hard to remember. at least i didn't have issues with it...

Oh I wonder where I got 256 from? Yeah that's correct 252 it is.
Celebi, wasn't he kinda like a grass/physic Pokémon?
I thought he resembled Mew a little when I saw images of him in an gaming magazine.
btw Mewtwo is still one of the most powerful in the game. 2nd highest base special attack (154 pts) and 7th highest speed (130 pts) of any pokemon, and most tournaments that allow legendary pokemon on your team allow Mewtwo
but if you have time and luck, you can get a shuckle to switch its defense stats (230 pts) to its attack and you would easily do more damage than mewtwo. which is funny because it can theoretically do the highest damage of any pokemon (481,266,036 damage with a critical hit)
pokemon silver was the first pokemon game i ever played and i got soul silver (remake) for its sentimental value
Interesting facts.
Speaking of Pokémon, I used to watch the first show when I was younger when Ash started his journey.
It was quite a good show and I watched it for quite some time, then I started to loose interest in the series altogether.
The Pokémon I know today is boring and repetitive, I mean how many of these creatures can they create?
They gotta be out of ideas soon?
Well i'm playing silver on the DS, its pretty good actually, they really worked on storyline events better (but storylines always the same, get gym badges and chanlenge league) but i have to say i was impressed by how you go about things in the game.
The series, yeah, they'll be losing ideas soon, i saw the 1st episode of pokemon best wishes and it really ticked me off cause this guy gets a new pokemon that should be at level 5 but the pokemon already knows so many moves, i know its to make it more interesting but if a pokemon you just caught is so powerful that leaves little room for improvements and upgrades which i think is the most important thing in pokemon
Quite an interesting Pokémon discussion we have going on here
The last Pokémon games that I played would have to be those for GBA Fire red and Leaf green which I think was remakes of the first games for the Game Boy, Pocket Monsters: Red & Green.
I too wonder when their ideas will run out.
