I recently upgraded from XP SP3 to Win7 64-bit, and I wanted to start playing NMH2 again.. But after I set up my dolphin the same way it was before.. It still is playing quite damn slow.. Even bizzarre jelly 5 trailer lags... While before it ran smoothly on 30 fps.. It is now a annoying 23 fps.. And it's just a trailer >_> ..
Any guidelines on ''how to make your dolphin play NMH2 on a decent framerate''?

My specs are rather decent, so that the usual RAM and CPU thing that WIN7 is said to leech a lot feels like no problem at all..
CPU: AMD Athlon 640 X4
GPU: ATI HD 5570 (It isn't the best GPU around, I know.. But on XP it could easily run NMH2 with the speedhack.)
RAM: 6GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
I am using the speedhack that the wiki lead me to.. It really didn't change anything... As much that after deleting the config file.. The FPS stayed the same..

So any help would be deeply appreciated!
To get that much of a slowdown something else must have changed, think about every change you could have possibly made.
I'm personally not sure.. But I can say that the speedhack totally doesn't work....
Without the speedhack, it had 25fps, and with it it went down to 22-23 fps (When walking around in the room... Which is one of the least resource taking areas.)
And I also noticed that when the loading screen hits, it somewhat has a lagspike.. Something unheard of, when I played it before.

I have disabled the audio throttle, and enabled cheats..
Although I'm not too positive if I really have the same settings, some help would be great.
To get best proformance goto youtube.com and type in twilight princess Dolphin
it'll give you the specs that you need to run games in NTSC and PAL but for JAP games it's different and they crash
All my settings are the same as on the vid description of the vid that you specified.. Not helping.. >_<
I tried out both Dx9 and dx11 ver..
Personally I don't think the speedhack is working like I said before.. The speed hack didn't change anything.. Though the point also is that I did everything that was supposed to make it work..
So really.. I would really like some help T.T
So wait we're talking about ZTP now?

Why don't you post screenshots of your settings and I'll have a look.

Well here it is.. Big Grin
Why is framelimit set to 65? Other than that your settings look fine. Which means something must be wrong elsewhere.
For me it seems like the Speedhack isn't working at all. Maybe I just have the wrong speedhack, or it just doesn't work with this version of Dolphin.. So it might help, if you just wrote the speedhack here, in the miniscule chance that I found a wrong one.. :/
What speedhack? What are you talking about?
